"Thank you for the great review! We appreciate your business."
I never received a call back, so there was no work performed. Therefore, I cannot comment on the quality of their
work, but their responsiveness was less than satisfactory."This is the problem with this type of on-line forum for customers to write unfounded comments that are damaging to a business. This type of chatter should not be allowed on the internet as it is damaging to our company and the families of all the employees who work here. Everyone in our business cares and I am sure this was all just a misunderstanding. We generally do not get involved in repairing showers that we did not build in the 1st place. Sorry to say but it is generally just asking for trouble down the road because most of the time nobody is happy. The tile color will be off or the grout color will be off or the shower pan is already leaking etc etc. Most are just a problem waiting to happen and a tile coming loose is a pretty good indicator the original work with not done well. If we did not call him back I do apologize but we have been extremely busy for quite some time and repairing work someone else did is not something we like to get into."
"[member name removed] claims are very unfair to our business and we are sad to see how he has handled this. We strive hard to please every customer when they are willing to allow us to. He was right in saying this was a few years back but the date is inaccurate as it was in 2009. He is right that the salesman originally working with his job is no longer with us but we still care just as much. [member name removed] is inaccurate about the cost and why there was a change in the final cost. [member name removed] original payment and quote was for $13,919.14 and we never asked for $3800 more. We asked for $675 more once we ran into problems and noticed cracks in slab and were recommending use of a CRACK ISOLATION MEMBRANE. The use of these products in normal and professional in our industry. We never know when we will encounter cracks but it is our duty to let the customer know and show them the cracks. $675 is a very minimal amount and well below our cost for that amount. Normally it is much higher in cost be we want to be as reasonable as possible when these problems are noticed after work has started. When other flooring is down there is no way for us to know there will be cracks like he had. We still believe we handled this the proper way although we are sorry it created delays and added complexity in the work we were doing. We do believe the quality of the products and labor we provided were outstanding in our industry. As a further comment it is a shame and saddening that some customers don't understand that we are confronted with unexpected and added difficulty when remodeling an existing home. We tried to handle [member name removed] job professionally by having our Installation Manager come out to his home to explain the small extra charges we were to have. Again the extra charges were very small compared to the norm in our industry for that amount of crack protection. The only communication that ever shut down was on [member name removed] part and we have always been willing to complete our work to his satisfaction. It is our commitment to satisfy every customer."
