UCC-Tecton offers diverse expertise, installing all types of masonry materials including: brick, pavers, concrete block, stone, glass block, cultured stone, cast stone and thin stone veneer. Over the past ten years, our clients have requested the use of stone more often than any other masonry material. Because of the growing demand, this new division of UCC is being formed, to more accurately meet the needs of our clientele. Aaron Utter, owner of UCC, is a third-generation stone and brick mason. He learned masonry under the guidance of his father, Loyall Utter, who learned from Aaron's grandfather, J. L. Vandergriff. Honesty and integrity are the foundation of UCC and Tecton Stoneworks. H*** he even had a portable bathroom delivered for his crew. He also takes care of any issues head on and takes ownership over that. I will be recommending his business to everyone I know. "Everything went great! They came and cleaned out the flowerbed, put a stone border around it and my tree, Dug up all weeds, put down weed barrier and planted two new rose bushes and 4 other plants. It looked great! I texted about a month after they finished and asked where they had gotten the plants because some weren’t looking too hot (they have since revived) and asked about the weed barrier because I have weeds growing up around the edges and in a few other places. I was told that they would come out that Saturday. I waited all day and no one. I got busy and a couple weeks went by. I texted again with a picture of the weeds. I was told they would come this past Monday. Still waiting. I really want to give them 5 stars because the initial work was done while I was in the hospital so everything g was done via text. I just can’t because I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for them to come clean it up and make sure there is weed barrier all over."
