"They have the necessary equipment to do a good job and they work very hard but they will NOT do everything you want. They would not split the wood I wanted and charged a very high price although they are supporting a large crew and have a lot of equipment. They did get a very large tree down and cleaned up in 1 day."

Afterward, cover the stump with a tarp to retain moisture and block sunlight, then place mulch on top to secure it in place.

The best time to transplant a tree is when it is dormant. For many trees, this means either in the fall after the leaves have dropped (around October or November) or in early spring before new growth begins (around March). The ideal timing can depend on the type of tree. Deciduous trees do well when moved in early spring or fall, while evergreens are best transplanted in early spring or late summer.
