"My foundation was in really bad shape. There were a number of fractures in my concrete floor, gaps in my drywall, and tile seams pulling apart in my showers. Risen came out and took a number of measurements and did a really thorough walk-around to see exactly what would be needed to make everything square. They did an awesome job explaining what was needed and how the process would look. Their crew came out and did the job quickly and efficiently. "When you need foundation work done check for these things: - prior foundation work done on your house - ask the representative who comes in and takes the level readings how far off level is your foundation. When the representative came and took the readings on our house, he did not say how off level it was. All he said was the house was leaning bad on the right side. When the foundation team came to install the piers, I found out that the house was off level by 1/2 inch (ca. 5 cm)! I paid almost $13,000 to have the right side of the house lifted 1/4 inch (ca. 10 cm). And then come to find out when the foundation crew started digging, previous foundation work had already been done! - read, reread and reread the contract before you sign it! Ask any question no matter how stupid you may think it is! - make sure you have a 4-inch sewer clean out so a plumber hired by the foundation company can come in and do a PRE and post hydrostatic test. Any water leaks in your plumbing will void the contract! All plumbing issues are the homeowners financial responsibility to repair!"

I was in the hospital when the work was done, so no one was there to look after the work, although they were suppose to call my daughter. The repair to the foundation is very good. The mess they left is atrocious. They damaged a very large rosebush and broke off a piece of concrete on my patio that was not repaired."
