"I was originally interested in finding someone to clean out the slime at the bottom of our pool. Tim was extremely quick to respond. He even made a special trip at his own expense to assess what needed to be done at my pool. Unfortunately, it had been sitting so long, that both the equipment and plaster needed to be replaced, and that was not in our budget. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his desire to serve us, as potential customers. I can tell he has a lot of knowledge of pool equipment and pool maintenance. From the professionalism he displayed during my brief interactions with Symbri, I would certainly recommend to others that they give this company a chance to quote on their pool repair and maintenance projects. "Installing a fiberglass pool is a "no brainer". Having Staycation Fiberglass Pools do the work is too! They are a turn-key business and when they were done I had a 100% functioning pool and deck ready to enjoy. Aside from a couple days for weather, there were no hiccups and that resulted in an awesome pool installed within a month. They didn't stop from the first day they showed up and I would recommend them 100%."

"They were excellent. They helped me pick the materials and color. The pool turned out great and they have serviced it throughout the past year. They were easy to work with and always made me feel like I was special. They wanted to make sure it turned out the way I wanted. They stand behind their work and are very responsive when I need anything. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

The longest part of building a custom home is the design phase. It takes multiple professionals and a ton of work to bring your vision for your dream home to life while sticking to a homebuilding budget and also ensuring everything is built to code. Expect the design phase for a custom home build to take six months to a year.

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.
