"I hired Be My Guest to do a yard clean-up for my house before it went on the market. I had contacted previous companies for estimates and received ridiculous quotes of $1100-1600 to clean my front and back yard which included trimming bushes and tree limbs, raking leaves and spreading mulch that I purchased. Fernando, the owner of Be My Guest, quoted me $300. Deal! As I shared my to-do list of projects to prepare my house to list, I found out that the companies abilities extended past yard work. I ended up hiring them for $1100 to clean the yard, paint the house and front door, replace the expansion boards in the driveway and walkway with cement, fix the cracks along the cement foundation from the house settling and paint the back porch, stain the cement floor/steps, paint the garage and stain the floor. I also ended up getting full sod for the back yard, which cost met $850 total including labor. Other companies were quoting me $1100-1300 for a back yard that is part of a .11 acre total property! The projects soon moved inside and I hired them the paint the baseboards and trim, paint one room, replace the flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, fix laminate pieces in the current flooring and fix moulding at the top of my kitchen and bathroom closets. "I live in a old house, and the insulation on the attic needs to be added.  City of Austin Utilities (Austin Energy) has a great rebate program for insulation, so I signed up.  EnergyAttic is one of the companies listed by Austin Energy.  For getting the quote, the audit person was friendly and through with his explanation about what's and why's.  Finally I scheduled for the work.  Kent came with his crews and basically supervised and worked on the problem and the insulation.  He made sure everything was installed (seal, insulation) properly and Austin Energy auditor approved the work.  The door blower/blast test took a while because of setting issue (EnergyAttic subcontracted to other company), and finally after 3 hours, we did get an excellent result.  I was happy with Kent's and his crews work.  They were friendly, punctual, and got the work done.  They actually came back to reseal door on the furnace area.  They also promised to come back if  I were to work on the attic and the insulation needed to be re-sweep."

"My wife and I wanted to have wall put up to close off a formal dinning room and convert to an office with built in shelves, so we had this company come out and they gave us a free estimate. I saw their truck down the street from my house. The bid was originally for 5500, which included building/framming the wall I wanted, insulating/sound proofing the wall since it will be used as a home office, and then of course we needed a door, the sheetrock put up and getting it to match our current walls. We then added in the shelving, which was an additional 400.00 The project took between 7-8 days to complete (They only worked during normal hrs around 9 each day to about 4:30) Day to day when arriving they were courteous and prepared the area and gave us a run down of what they hoped to complete that day. Most days they stayed on track with what they told me. They were easy to deal with and they accepted a credit card for the transaction. My wife is also satisfied with the project and is able to work in the quiet now! Very happy with the project."
