"My project went beautifully. Small job doing my driveway, with turns and downhill. They cut into the old base to get a nice even foundation. The next day put down the asphalt. Done in 2 days, cleaned up the area and gave it a couple days to set. They also paved my little alcove where the trash bins live. Will be so much easier to pull them to the street. Great crew, professional job. Exceedingly pleased."

"Dakota was more than fair with his pricing and work was started immediately. He kept me informed and sent pictures through the process as well as being polite and courteous. They service a wide area in Texas and beyond, even though they were not located physically close to the project. Highly recommend and will use again if we need their services!"

"Ricardo Obregon and his crew did a fantastic job of designing, excavating and installing a custom shaped paver walkway in our front yard. They were very professional and efficient. We will call on them again when the need arises."

"Update-6/10/19: After more than a month of repeated requests, apparently Juan Carlos is so busy he's yet to have his irrigator come back and adjust the system to not turn on when it rains. The Rain Bird tech(maker of the equipment) felt it maybe a faulty sensor or not paired correctly. We also have a few plants that are not doing too well that may also be irrigation related. These little customer service tweaks after the work is key to customer satisfaction and value of ones gurantee. Juan Carlos advises they have a 1 year guarantee on their work, irrigation and landscaping. We did a fairly complete landscape home remodel of the front, side and back yards for plants, trees, sloping for water drainage, sod, concrete driveway repair, new flagstone front walkway, sidewalk and entry steps, cedar-entry post and railing, irrigation, and lighting. They had the manpower and equipment to complete it in 3 weeks. Their lead supervisor --Rocky, knowledgable in most all trades, was the key to making it all happen and then some! They were on the job at 7:30 am till 5 pm and cleaned up every day. Bravo!"

We also surround died our home with wheelchair access. Not one crack and that was back in 2018. Home sold in 2021."

Customers say: Quality work

"We were very pleased with the finished small rock retaining wall. It looks better than we had expected. However it took a little longer than we expected. They had said 10 days, and of course that meant working days. One day they did not show up and so we called and eventually they called back and said they were having trouble with the company truck. Another day they did not show up and we called and they said that they were getting materials. However we very much like the final results of the work."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Heated driveways cost an average of $12 to $25 per square foot. Depending on the size of your driveway, you may pay between $3,500 to $25,000 in total. Several factors can affect your bottom line, including material, labor, and system types. Investing in a heated driveway can save on snow removal costs because it will automatically melt the snow that falls on your driveway.

If you're designing a new patio in an area with poor drainage, permeable pavers made from porous materials may help prevent water issues. Most permeable pavers feature a gravel-only aggregate base instead of a concrete base to allow water to flow through instead of getting trapped. While beneficial in some cases, permeable pavers come with higher initial costs and greater load-bearing limitations compared to traditional pavers.

While water-related pressure caused by poor drainage is one common cause of paver cracking, other factors can include ground movement beneath pavers, heavy loads and wear and tear over the pavers, and climates with constant freeze-thaw cycles. In general, pavers should be resealed every three to five years to prevent cracking.

In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If you’re widening your driveway and plan on widening the apron as well, you’ll usually need a permit from the Department of Transportation in your area. This permit costs between $50 and $300 in most cases. Most municipalities will also require a certified and insured contractor do the work relating to the apron and curb cut. You can contact your building department or ask your paving company if you need a permit. Your driveway professional will usually pull the permit for you.

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.
