Because of this delay, I got a quote from another provider and Sustainable Trees was less expensive. Since it was the first time they had worked in this city, they had to provide a lot of documentation and permitting was delayed. They would now be on Temple Terraces approved Provider List. When they were able to start cutting, the tree over the house was found to be split and more dangerous to cut than expected. They had to work very carefully. It then started to heavily rain. They were forced to come back another day. On the second day, they were successful in removing the dying split tree. They thoroughly ground out the stumps as well as the entire flowerbed. We had just purchased this property and the flowerbeds were overgrown with weeds, saplings and trash trees. By grinding them thoroughly, they saved me hours of work. They ground the wood to mulch and helped move it around my yard to save me energy and time. Since it had taken awhile to finish the contracted job, they asked if we could negotiate a price and continue the rest of the day. I had some heavy jobs, moving Ligustrums and Gardenias to new locations as well as trimming some of the overgrown decorative trees and palms. Afterwards, I took a Master's Level Palm Care class and the recommendations made by Danny were accurate to what I learned in my class. The crew was very polite and nice. They worked very hard. I would work with them again in the future. After speaking with other homeowners that have contracted with other pool contractors and observing the work of other pool contractors I am very happy we contracted with Mobley Pools. One homeowner who contracted with another company for a very elaborate and expensive pool described how their pool, which is less than 1 year old has a crack up the middle of the pool and is leaking. Another homeowner contracted with another pool contractor had their pool dug incorrectly (too shallow at one end and too deep at the other end). Mobley pool is the only pool contractor in the area that has his own crew for doing the digging, plumbing and electrical. All other local pool contractors appear to hire sub-contractors out of Houston for the digging, plumbing and electrical. We contracted with Mobley Pool Company to build our 18' X 36' (4' to 7' deep) with slide on April 2, 2010. Work began on April 20, 2010 and we began swimming on May 20, 2010. All work was done professionally. All workers involved seemed to take pride in their work. Mr. Mobley and his crew delivered exactly what we requested in minimum time. The city inspector was able to tell the pool was a Mobley Pool even though there was no Mobley Pool Sign posted in the front yard. When I asked about that he stated it was because of the steel (rebar) work. He went on to say that Mr. Mobley is the only pool builder that uses as much steel as he uses. Mobley Pool Company pools are priced slightly higher than his competitors, but I feel this is because of the amount of steel used in pool construction and the quality of the concrete used for pool decking. As a side note: The number of cubic yards of concrete required for the pool decking was underestimated resulting in a total additional cost of $1800 for concrete decking. Mr. Mobley asked that I pay half of the additional cost. I agreed to pay an additional $900, which I did. Slide did not appear to be installed properly. The reason I say this is that none of the joints that are supposed to be smooth do not appear to be properly aligned. Mobley Pool Company has sent out their expert in slide installation to try to repair it, but the joints remain misaligned. Perhaps there is a problem with this particular make and model slide (Interfab-XStream). Mobley Pool sent their technician out several times to correct the problem. As I said before there may be a problem with the slide design. ***UPDATE ON SLIDE*** 06/11/2013: Problems with Pool Slide continue. I noticed that the pool slide had water leaking out the bottom of it. Upon checking it out the slide I noted that the slide was more misaligned and that there was a large gap on the bottom of the slide where the seat portion meets the first flume had a large gap. I decided that I needed to tighten the bolts on the slide as directed in the owner’s manual. I began by tightening the bolts on the legs. Several of these bolts were seized. Upon tightening the nuts on the bolts where the seat and first flume meet one bolt pulled the embedded nut from the seat portion of the slide. I attempted to reinstall it as I believed the reason it pulled out was because I had tightened it too tightly. I was unable to reinstall and resorted to sending an e-mail and photographs to InterFab to see if they had a fix for my problem. Because I did not want the children trying to use the slide we took it down. In preparing to complete the repair that I was expecting from InterFab I removed slide handles. To my surprise I found that the steps where the handles go through were broken from what I must assume is over tightening. I also noted that the bolts holding the mounting foot for the ladder were installed at an angle. They should have been totally vertical as demonstrated in the InterFab on-line video. Bottom line is I do not believe the slide was installed properly in the first place. It was brought to our house fully assembled.The installation instructions and on-line video clearly indicate that it is to be assembled on site by at least 2 workers. Without seeing the slide in the unassembled state I have no idea of whether it was assembled correctly or of knowing the condition of all of the parts before assembly. I might add here that none of the protective caps designed to fit over exposed bolts were included or installed on the slide. I do know that the instructions in the owner's manual and that I viewed on the Inter-Fab web site clearly state that once the slide is set into place that the position of the deck mounting holes are to be marked on the deck and that once marked the slide is to be moved to the side so that the holes for the mounting bolts can be drilled vertically. Although the holes for the 2 vertical mounting posts are vertical, the mounting bolts for the foot of the ladder are all at an angle indicating that the holes were drilled with the slide in place. I believe this possibly may have caused extra tension on the slide joints causing them to fail prematurely. 6/14/2013: After exchanging e-mails and photographs with Inter-Fab regarding our X-Stream Slide the manufacturer has informed me that they will be sending the repair parts to us free of charge. What a refreshing development to find a manufacturer that stands behind their product. I would recommend purchase of this companies products 100%. I am more than satisfied with their response to my inquiry."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/bryan/mobley-pool-co-reviews-6174037.htm"},"position":7},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Suburbia Oasis of Texas LLC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TX","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Mark A."},"reviewBody":"Poor design with promises to repair issues with water penetration. Hitt's Landscaping was our contractor's choice to pull together the existing yard and a new addition on our home. He was seldom on site and had no effective foreman. The job was handled unprofessionally and was interminable. Landscaping masonry was great, although the fountain he built for us leaked underground and killed a 20 year old oak that we worked hard to protect during building. Rather than actually investigate, he answered my concerns and protests with \"it just must be evaporation.\" The beds he planted around our new addition were raised higher than the foundation and piled against the house-sides. The job, bid in February to take approximately 3 weeks, had at last reached the point of the plant installation in May. The heavy irrigation needed to sustain the plants seeped into the subfloor of our new addition, ruining our new wood floors and a 2' x 40' section of interior sheetrock.Our builder rectified this promptly (all new wood floors and sheet rock..what mess) and negotiated with Hitt's insurance for replacement costs. Similarly, as a direct result of Hitt's poorly considered and executed work, three 40' Live oaks around which we designed the garden were drowned: the tree trunks were buried 6-8\" in a layer of mulch and soil. This material plus the heavy watering regime mentioned above smothered the trees. Maddeningly, I knew better and even told him I thought that the soil was too high, but Mr. Hitt assured me I was wrong and that the trees would be fine (he'd done the same thing plenty of previous times and the trees were always fine, he said [in fact, no one else I ever consulted could concur]). It took approximately one month before we insisted he take the soil back down to the original level, but the damage was done. And the trees we had repeatedly and specifically told anyone and everyone involved in the long and complicated construction process were a priority died within five months. Drainage was inadequate in patio area and needed tweaking at a cost of an additional $2,500 (he wasn't taking any responsibility and complained) To add insult to this HUGE injury to our back yard, we had to fight about replacement costs and responsibility. It got pretty ugly. Hitt was rude, unapologetic, became very defensive and bullying and, towards the end while \"punching out\" and finishing details, became very sloppy, unresponsive and forced us to ask for small service details that should have been completed w/o question to begin with. We eventually settled with $7,5000 for the total loss of 3 large oaks just to put an end to this bad business. This is an edited, so by no means complete, accounting of the inattention and incompetence that typified the Hitt's experience. This firm probably does a great business in tract-home and spec installations in this boom town, but don't let him near your home or garden."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tx/college-station/hitt%27s-landscape-and-maintenance-reviews-5987490.htm"},"position":10}]}

FAQs for interior design and decorating projects in Centerview, TX
Most interior designers have at least a four-year degree, if not an advanced degree in interior design. Additionally, many states require interior designers to be licensed. If your state does not require licensing, interior designers can take a licensing exam with the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Overall, licensing requirements vary from state to state, but most licenses require certain education levels and experience to qualify. To check the qualifications of your interior designer, use Angi’s state licensing tool.
The difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator is that the interior decorator focuses on the space’s colors, furniture, art, and finishes. An interior designer goes beyond that to plan and execute layouts, structural changes, and overall functionality in addition to aesthetics that the decorator manages. We recommend hiring an interior designer for major remodeling projects and hiring an interior decorator to establish or enhance your home’s interior style.
On average, hiring an interior designer costs about $8,200, ranging from $200 to $65,000, depending on where you live, the size of your home, and the type of decor. The total price tag of interior design services is based on whether they provide consultation and implementation as well as any specialty design services, such as home staging or digital design mock-ups. Residential interior designers typically charge an hourly rate of $50 to $200 per hour, or up to $500 per hour in areas with high demand.
Hiring an interior designer is often worth the investment, especially for larger projects beyond DIY interior design and project management skills. However, the decision to hire an interior designer depends on your budget and the size of the project. Some benefits of hiring an interior designer include:
Realizing the best layout and decor for optimal functionality of the space for your taste, budget, and lifestyle
Managing your project to keep the job on track and within budget
