Started off poorly. Once management was made aware, the communication improved temporarily, but ended where it started. The house was left a mess with plastic and tile bits everywhere. I took a picture abd showed them. Tile was missing and had to be reordered at their expense. Tile was laid in the wrong pattern (even though it was stipulated in the contract), and so it had to be pulled up and relaid. Overall, a really bad experience.

The sales team was very professional, courteous and prompt. They gave me an estimate after I chose my granite and it was more than competitive! Once I agreed on the price they scheduled a template date and they came out and made a template. They then showed me the layout which included seams, sinks and veins. I made decisions to do all of there recommendations and they proceeded to fabricate after my full approval. When the guys showed up to install they were very professional and polite. They installed my granite that was fabricated on all of there CNC equipment and it was perfect!! I couldn't be happier and will recommend to everyone from now one! Kuddos to the granite department at Brazos Valley Floor and Design.

Jeremy Dewitt and Brazos Valley Floor and Design are responsible for the 2nd biggest screw-up in our remodel.   We used Teragren bamboo flooring in two other projects and really like it.  So when it was time to do our master bedroom, we wanted to use that again.  The folks at BVF&D knew this early in the February of 2013 along with the start date for our remodel of June 3, 2013.  On June 3, 2013 the carpet was removed from our bedroom and then we find out the flooring is not in yet.
I hear nothing but excuses from Jeremy and finally on July 1, 2013 I decide to track down where my flooring may be.  I reached the people at Teragren who were super nice and super confused on why I was calling them.  They then gave me the name of my wholesaler, The Master's Craft and Brad S. was very nice and helpful.  What I found out was that the flooring was ordered on June 14th (yes, 11 days AFTER removing our carpet and making our bedroom unlivable) and that it would be delivered on July 5, 2013. Over a month after it should have been here.
The men installing the flooring were quite rude and messy.  I got a lot of attitude when they had to come back and clean up all the glue they left on floor.  Eventually my husband had to clean the floor inch by inch to get off the glue and solvent that left spots everywhere.
I will say BVF&D does have a nice selection of granite slabs so we were able to find what we wanted without a drive to Houston.  A very competent man came to our house to measure for the granite counter tops, but a different crew came to install them.  Apparently a sub-contractor, so I feel I was deceived in who was going to install the counters.  These sub-contractors did a sub-par job of installing the counters.  Including making the backs plash the wrong height and stealing the extra granite and some other leftover granite that they were going to shape for me.  Doubt I'll be seeing those again.
The carpet at BVF&D is over priced.  We had to go over our allowance from Mariott on the cost of the carpet even though we chose the least expensive options.  I will say the carpet installers did a good job.  They even managed to put carpet in the children's bedroom closets when they were full of junk.

They were fine. They were nice. What they had for us just didn't meet what we need. The people we interacted with were very nice. They were very informative and knowledgeable.

Very friendly staff. Sharon was helpful in guiding me to the right tiles to select from for an outdoor space, and the wood flooring choices were broad enough to offer a wide range, but small enough to not overwhelm me. On the day of install, Sharon called me to inform me of what to expect throughout the day. The tile guy arrived prompt and did a great job. The wood guys were supposed to come that day, but got delayed on another job. I called Sharon, and she was right on it to find out what was going on. She called me back quickly to update me on the status, and agreed to reschedule the wood installation for the next day at my request. The wood guys were prompt on the reschedule and did a great job. I would hire this company again. My floors look great.

(First time we used this company was 2006, we had a very difficult time with calls, scheduling estimates, etc.) The only reason we used the company the second time was because they had our tile information and we wanted to match the previous tiles. It was very difficult to schedule the estimates (numerous calls to Sharon Brown and finally in frustration asking for a different sales person- getting Phil). We were trying to schedule this during my time off, but with feet dragging, Brazos Valley didn't get the tile ordered. It was up to me-the customer to call to find out what was going on, when the tiled was ordered, when was it going to be installed. I was told that the installers were coming on Friday, March 27th (however, I was not informed and could not take off work). The tile was finally installed on Wednesday, April 8th & 9th. While the work was satisfactory, the contracters DID NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES, WASHED THE GROUT BUCKETS AND DUMPED IT ON OUR LAWN, LEFT CUPS, TILE BITS, SPACERS, TRASH EVERYWHERE. PLUS THERE WAS A RAZOR BLADE (SCRAPPER/DOUBLE SIDED) LEFT ON THE LAWN, WHICH BY SHEER LUCK I SPOTTED AS I WAS WALKING ACROSS THE YARD. In additon, the contractors did not speak English and it was impossible to communicate with them. They came out with no safety equipment/glasses. The tile saw was set up next to my husband's truck which was covered with tile dust and our yard and neighbor's side yard plants were covered with dust. We were told that the contractors (Jessie-Supervisor) that the tile would be sealed later and that we didn't need to be home. (No one called to let us know if this had been done.) We had similar issues the first time. When we spoke to Phil and Sharon on Saturday, April 18th (to pay our bill) and take the trash back to Brazos Valley,we mentioned all the problems and issues. Both sales people were very sympathic and assured my husband & I that they would call us the following Monday. Today is Thursday and I HAD TO CALL to find out whether the tile had been sealed and if the contractors had been contacted. Phil said that it had slipped his mind and apologized for not calling (what's new - I don't think they have an outgoing line). Of course, the answer was yes, the tile and been sealed and yes the contractors were aware of the issue. Nothing else, end of story!!!!
