"If you need any stonework done (retaining wall, outdoor living areas, anything along those lines), I would highly recommend Tecton Stoneworks. In fact, I can't recommend them enough, as they did a great job for us. I hired them to replace a retaining wall along a drainage easement on the property and the work they did was exceptional. They demolished the old retaining wall (railroad ties from the 1990s), laid a footer, and put in the new wall with no problems at all. We decided to go with the less expensive option of using blocks for the retaining wall instead of utilizing the more decorative stone that would typically be used because this retaining wall is facing a drainage easement and curls around to a drainage ditch. They put capstones on the top of the wall, mortared everything in place, and added a lot of drainage which has already reduced the amount of standing water our yard retains after rain. Additionally, they put the fence posts inside the retaining wall which makes yard maintenance easier in years to come. And, above all, it looks good. Beyond just the quality of the work, Aaron was honest and upfront about the process. He was polite, respectful, explained anything I needed clarification on, and generally was a pleasure to work with. I am very glad that I hired them for this project."

They subcontracted a plumber to install sink, countertops, light fixtures. They put up a beautiful backsplash all around my large kitchen. He put tile down on the floor around where my toilet was reset. He fixed my door that wouldn't close, He repaired a large crack in my bedroom wall, re-textured and painted it. You couldn't even tell where it was when he was through. They worked hard on an old shed by reroofing it. They put up new siding and built an extension to the overhang in my cattle pen for the cows to use. They cleaned out the shed and hauled all the trash off. They also cleaned out a tractor shed and hauled off all the trash. I cannot think of two other people who work as hard as they do. They are kind and considerate and care about their customers. "I hired Santiago last month to demo wood panels and skim coat the walls smooth since the panels were covering up a lot of mess that was never updated. His pricing was right there along with other contractors I got quotes from. Others had fine print that stated pricing could go up depending on the walls getting damaged from removing the panels, but THIS company promised to include of any damage, and that was important for me, to stay in budget. Santiago was so friendly and professional, covered my floors including the path through my home. He found some old drywall that was too brittle which he replaced, he also patched some holes in the ceiling from plant hooks etc, matched the ceiling texture perfectly and gave it a fresh coat of paint. Then he replaced all the window trim and added a little shoe molding on the bottom because there was a gap showing where the floor met the wall. So much attention to detail. Iâ m 100% going to hire him for my future projects and I know if youâ re shopping around, stop, you found the right contractor. These walls are smoother than I expected and Iâ m so happy with how it turned out."
