"I was totally awestruck by Mike's professionalism, knowledge and honesty. He was able to reassure me that my used computer is in tip top shape and has more memory then I even imagined. He was able to remotely get into my computer to check it out since he is in Arizona and I am in Oklahoma. Normally I would not have allowed this-but thanks to Mikes many tremendous reviews and A Grade I trusted him and do not regret it. In my opinion he deserves an A++! It's been 20 years since I have owned a desktop computer and I'm obviously not tech savvy! Mike did not take advantage of that and was even kind enough to share some info with me free of charge. I have already opened a file (in my filing account with his name on it)! I am making a list of things for him to help me with and will definitely be back in touch with him. "Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Purchased services through a Big Deal to go over some items on my computers/devices that were evading me (syncing pictures between desktop/Mac laptop/iPad, etc.).  The actual service provided was fine, getting to that point was a challenge.  I had set up an appt. for a specific day/time, and arranged for time off from work to accomplish this.  20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time I had no service person and no phone call, so I contacted the company.  I did get hold of a live person easily, and after a brief hold was informed that the person who was scheduled to come to my house had called in sick, but left the "I'm sick" message on someone's voicemail who had not picked it up.  I did reschedule the visit some months later, but received a call about 1/2 hour prior to our scheduled time to inform me that the person who was to come to my house (different person than the first time) could not make it, but they could send someone who was further away who would take an additional 1-2 hours to arrive.  I had them come anyway, but it did throw my day off.  The individual who came was courteous, professional and knowledgeable, and the folks at the corporate office were courteous and apologetic, but it was so problematic actually getting the appointment to take place that I don't think I would try again."

"Every time he comes, we have 7 computers and he checks and updates everything and fixes everything that others couldn't fix. he configures the whole network in the house to make sure that all our computer are all hooked up and communicating with the network. he is clean, careful, and very professional with his work. We couldn't find anyone as competent as Mr. Caughman. He pricing is honest and reasonable."

"I called Luther on Friday morning while I was at work and set up an appt. for the same day. He came to my place exactly on time. Very punctual. He's also very neat and clean in his appearance and work habits. After signing an agreement on price so everything was clear and showing him my list of problems, he got right to work. Luther checked everything for viruses and then got rid of a lot of things that were making my computer run super slow. Then, after discussion, he uninstalled my antivirus program and installed his preferred program, which was very streamlined and easy to use. I just sits, running, in the background and doesn't interfere with my browsing experience. Luther also, by chance, had some "used" memory that worked with my pc. So he took my (very dusty and dog hairy) unit outside, gave it a good blowout and installed the memory for a very reasonable price. Luther told me my computer still has room for improvement (room available for more memory) but that this should improve things. It did....immensely.  Luther more than gave me my money's worth, I have to say and my computer is running like it should. I try to do a lot of my own troubleshooting on my computer, but after this experience I know I'm a rank amateur.  I'm really happy with my computer for now and I'll definitely be giving him a call in the future when I'm looking for a computer tech. "Went very well.....scheduled appointment at my convenience, was on time, and worked very quickly.  Showed what work he did.  I waited a couple of weeks before submitting this report to make sure I had no further issues.   Computer works fine and problem resolved.  I would use My Computer Buddy again.
