Customers say: True professional

"We have a lot of rock in our yard. They worked so hard to remove rock and to dig a line under our driveway to save us money. Work quality good and the system works great. Reasonably priced. Would recommend."

"Matt Rogan is professional and efficient, while being friendly and personable. Matt provided a reasonable quote to trim a tree and 2 shrubs. He and his crew did an excellent job in a short amount of time. The “after”photo is attached for the tree and 1 shrub. There was not enough file space for the “before” photos. Matt also referred me to someone who was able to replace some pipe and a fitting for the septic clean out the same day. I highly recommend Rogan’s Tree Service."

"Garrett was timely and thorough in the work he did to fix my failing sprinkler zones. He did a good job of explaining the work he did. He even came out again when I discovered another separate issue after he left. Very Trustworthy and honest."

"Ayden and his crew came out extremely quick to my home, gave me a surprisingly low bid same day, and had it done in just one week, overall I’m super happy with it and I will definitely be coming back to him if I need any other work done: 10/10"

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

"Fast Grass of Texas did all work as promised in a quick and efficient manner. We hired them to grade and reslope the area around our barn. We were very satisfied with their work and Mark was easy to do business with. This company exceeded our expectations in every way."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Several leaf-removal tools are available to make this annual process easier, including a leaf grabber, leaf tarps, leaf blowers, and leak vacuums. Each piece of equipment works differently, but they all achieve the same goal of picking up leaves as quickly and easily as possible.

You can choose between weekly leaf removal services throughout the fall or a single cleanup at the end of the season. If you want to maintain a pristine lawn, weekly service is a good idea to keep up with falling leaves. Alternatively, if you prioritize saving money, you can wait until all or most of the trees on your property are bare and pay for a one-time service. In most areas, this is typically in early to mid-November. While a single service is more budget-friendly, your yard will not remain leaf-free for the entire season.

Ultimately, pulling weeds vs. spraying them depends on what’s happening in your yard and your personal preferences. Manual weed removal doesn’t introduce any chemicals into your landscape, targets specific problematic plants, produces immediate results, can be free if you go the DIY route, and is inexpensive with a weed service if you only have a handful of weeds. On the other hand, spraying is often preferable for severe weed infestations and situations involving difficult-to-pull weeds because it treats multiple weeds at once, is usually more effective long-term, is less time-consuming, and costs less when done by a pro.

Lazy composting involves putting leaves, grass clippings, and plant trimmings in a corner of your yard and letting nature take its course. There is no turning, watering, or balancing green and brown materials. It’s a low-effort, long-term approach that can take up to one or two years to create finished compost. It is perfect for gardeners who don’t mind waiting and want a no-fuss way to repurpose organic waste.

Excavators work in tandem with dump trucks to haul away excess dirt and soil. The excavator will dig into the ground and move the excess dirt into a pile. Using a backhoe, the specialist can fill a truck with excavated soil from that pile. They will then drive the truck to a different location where they can dump the material.
