Customers say: True professional

"Jamison was prompt, knowledgeable, and did a great job of improvising on the spot. His handy knowledge of TV antennas, internet wiring and items of this sort. I'll probably be calling him back for an excellent idea he gave me on how to move my wifi to a better spot with minimal wire visibility."

"I had them wall mount 3 TVs, The work was done in a professional manner and the installers explained why one TV was not 'centered', which was understandable due to pocket doors which resulted in studs being off 16" center. I took half stars off for customer service, as they didn't come when they promised (an early A.M. appointment) which resulted in a lat afternoon appointment (the last P.M. appointment). Installaion price was a bit higher than some of other quotes, but the finished projects were worth it."

Small jobs welcome

"Came out for the install on a Saturday, which was awesome, but did not have everything need for the job-possibly because the company truck was not available; came back Sunday and finished the install. Clean up was not great because they left extra wire laying on the ground outside, did not reseal where the wire came into the house and left pieces of cut off wire on the driveway."

TV Antenna questions, answered by experts

Before investing in a TV antenna repair, there are a few steps you can take to help boost your signal quality. Removing obstacles like tree branches can help improve your signal strength. Along the same line, moving an indoor antenna away from obstacles can also help. These should be near a window, as high as possible. If these steps don’t work, speak with a TV antenna technician about a signal amplifier to help boost your signal even further.

The easiest way to ensure you get the best reception from your TV antenna is to leave the installation to a professional. You’ll pay around $300 for this service, but the expert will use signal checkers to find the ideal placement for your antenna on your roof. They can also determine the right direction for your antenna to face. If your existing antennas are delivering a poor-quality picture, it might help to invest in a TV antenna signal booster, which picks up more signals and could provide a better experience.

If you’re having problems with poor reception, here are some simple tips that may help improve the signal and picture quality.

  • Consider the position of the antenna: Could it be higher, is it secure, or are nearby obstructions interfering with the signal? For a directional antenna, you may need to reposition it in the direction of the broadcast tower.

  • Move any metallic objects: Metal can interfere or block reception, so if you have stainless steel objects or the antenna is near a wrought-iron fence, this could be a problem. Try to keep the antenna at least six feet away from metal objects..

  • Cable length: An overly long cable can reduce signal strength. If you don’t need as much cable as you are using, it may be better to exchange it for a shorter one.

Yes, professionals re-mount and realign antennas for optimal signal reception.

DIY is possible for minor adjustments, but professionals ensure proper alignment and signal strength.
