We went to the grocery not realizing that a thunder storm was brewing up.  Before we could get back to the house, a really bad storm had blown through.  We have a dog that is terrified of storms.  During our absence, he ripped apart a box and ATE TWO OF THE SLATS IN OUR BLINDS.   Not a pretty sight.

I called the folks at Delightful Blinds and explained my dilemma. Although they were going on a rewards trip the next day they promised to get back to me when they returned.  Asking that I measure carefully where the little groves were on the slats where they fit into the mechanism.

Sure enough, they got back with me promptly after returning from their trip.   They somehow managed to get the replacement slats for me (plus a couple of extra, in case Ace eats the blinds again) for no charge.

NOW THAT IS TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE.  They went out of their way to assist us.

I'll be using them again as I replace window treatments in our San Antonio home.

He is incredibly responsive--replied quickly to my request for a bid, was at my house on time (am embarrassed to say I wasn't but he was kind enough to wait for me), explained everything he was doing in detail, texted me pictures of the rotted spots on the roof that I couldn't see without climbing on the roof (which I didn't want to do), and even discouraged me from doing things that weren't necessary and would cost a lot of money. I thought I needed to get new gutters but he assured me that once he cleaned them out and painted them, I would not need to get new ones. And he was right. We will be hiring him again to change our exterior doors. Also his price was very fair in comparison to other bids we received. And the work looks great.
