The installers came on time and were very professional.  They pulled up the old carpet and hauled it off and did a great job of putting down a new laminate floor and cleaning up afterward. They also helped with moving the furniture. The job was reasonably
priced and we are very happy with the result.

Very well; great job; He pulled up the trim and then put it back down.  He also moved the furniture.  It was mostly done in one day.  Highly recommend this company.

An excellent job.  Patrick helped me find samples of wood I like and we ended up using a handscraped walnut which has been both beautiful and durable.  We looked for our own tile at various local suppliers and had him install it in the kitchen and bathrooms.   We put in porcelain tile which is also terrific.
The job was professionally done and at a competitive price - what more can you ask for?

Patrick was very professional and courteous and completely understood our bad experience with the previous installer.
He was patient and took the time to answer all of our questions.  The day of the installation, Patrick came out with his contractor who
completed the work.  Both he and the contractor took lots of time to assess the work, answer questions and explain everything in detail. I was especially impressed that they decided to not use a saw to remove the old wood and instead removed it all by hand because it would create less dust since I told them I was allergic to dust and wanted everything covered in plastic.  This was extra manual labor that they took upon themselves to do.  As the work was being completed, Patrick was continuously involving me in the decisions as they came across situations or questions.  In the end, they cleaned up the mess and walked through the final results with us to be sure we were happy.  We had a wonderful experience and our stairs are now more stable and look beautiful.  We would recommend Name Your Floor again.

Patrick was very prompt in returning our initial call to set up a date/time for an estimate. His pricing was very reasonable, quality of work outstanding and can't say enough good things about his professional crew. They were prompt and experts in their craft. The foreman was very professional and kept the crew on task. All the old carpet was removed and discarded and the work area after each day and at the end of the project was left spotless. Patrick met all of our criteria---pricing, quality product, and quick completion timeline. We will use him again to upgrade the remaining carpet in the house.

Their service was wonderful.  They were reasonably priced.  They were showed up when they were supposed to. They did very neat and very clean work.  They completed a little bit ahead of schedule.

I shopped for flooring for weeks before my next door neighbor suggested that I call Patrick Barry, the owner of Name Your Floor.

My wife and I went to many retail flooring showrooms and even one of the big box home stores looking for either laminate or hardwood. Everyone either wanted too much or their products were not the quality level that we wanted.

We did find one floor showroom with a product we liked at a price we could afford, but I found it difficult to work with the manager. In fact, it was while I was on the phone with that manager ? who was yet again rescheduling when he could measure our house ? when my neighbor happened to come by and overheard the end of the argument. That is when he suggested that I contact Patrick.

Patrick does not have a fancy showroom. He keeps his costs down by using some of his warehouse space as a show area. But when I called him, he said he would be happy to just bring some samples when he came by to measure. He did not have exactly what we wanted with him on his first visit to our home, but he took measurements and left with a much better idea of our preferences. The next day he brought samples of an engineered hardwood product that we really liked and was in the right price range.

Over the next week, Patrick worked up several quotes for me with different parts of the house getting the hardwood floor (full house; just downstairs; downstairs + staircase; just the high priority rooms). In the end, we chose to install wood in the downstairs (~800 sq. ft.) and the staircase (17 steps). He gave me a bit of a price break since I provided painted stair risers (my wife likes how the light riser color contrasts with the dark hardwood steps) and pulled the baseboards off the walls before Patrick's crew arrived (I don't like how quarter-round looks).

Patrick's installation crew was very professional. The foreman spoke English, so I was able to communicate with him during the install such as letting him know which pieces of carpet I wanted to keep.

When all the work was done, Patrick even helped me put pads on our heavy furniture pieces, and he carried off some carpet remnants that I had decided not to keep after all.

Patrick (the lead) was great. I was in contact with him the week prior to keep status on delivery time for my carpet that wasn't in stock at the moment. For pricing, Patrick came in well below the other estimates to earn my business. The morning of installation, he gave me a 30-min call ahead to give me time to make it back home from work. Upon arrival, he helped me move my big furniture out of the way, and the guys started getting straight down to business. They ripped up the old carpet, bundled it and hauled away no problem. I had a chance to even look at what the old carpet looked like underneath (the previous installer used mobile home padding.. big no-no?). I also got to run some speaker wires under the pad. They cleaned up everything after, ran the vacuum a couple of times, replaced the big furniture, and left the area better than when they arrived. Overall great work and Patrick was very easy to work with. I'd definitely use him again.

They did a really good job. They were very thorough and very clean. They did all of the cutting outside. After they were done, you could hardly tell they were even here. The price was very reasonable as well.
