"Excellent in all aspects of the Job. I purchased a Greenhouse kit. It was done professionally, and he oversaw the installation of the electrical. He performed much like the general contractor on every phase of the job including some of the necessary landscaping needs to make sure all looked absolutely beautiful."

"We hired Jane to paint the entire interior of our house, our trim, and some exterior painting, as well as to install some moulding. From before we even hired her, Jane was friendly and easy to reach, she even gave me her personal cell phone so I could call or text with questions. I called for other estimates, and those companies seemed so impersonal compared to my interactions with Jane. Jane’s quote was not the cheapest quote, but she really makes sure the job is done right; she came over regularly to check on things, and selected a quality wood grade for our moulding. In addition, her crew, especially Julio, was friendly, dedicated, and did quality work. In terms of our specific project, we had so many challenges. The first color I chose it turns out I really disliked! So I decided to re-paint with a different color. That color had problems from the paint store (one of the cans didn’t match the others), and so that had to be re-painted! This happened because I was pretty particular about the paint brand I wanted and bought my own paint instead of using the store Jane recommended. Jane was so patient through the entire process, even giving me a break on the re-painting cost after the drama with the store. On top of that, we had different areas that need to be painted at different times due to renovations we’re doing at the house, and Jane was really flexible with all of the timing. It is so nice to work with someone like Jane who gets to know you and clearly takes pride in her work. Jane has gone above and beyond to make sure everything has turned out perfectly. I will be hiring Jane again for future painting projects!"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

A whole-house fan works best to pull chilled and dry air into your home in the early morning hours and at night. This system allows you to close your windows after turning off the fan and trap the cool air inside. You can run your whole house fan continuously for maximum ventilation and fresh air, or you can turn it on for ten minutes or so at a time to introduce cool, fresh air as needed.

There are many types of ceiling fans available, each designed for different spaces and needs. Standard ceiling fans are the most common type and work well in most rooms. Low-profile ceiling fans are better suited for rooms with low ceilings. Smart ceiling fans can be controlled with a smartphone or voice commands. For larger spaces with ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, large ceiling fans are ideal. Dual-motor fans have two motors to produce more airflow in multiple directions. You can also find energy-efficient or Energy-Star models that can be up to 60% more efficient, as well as fans with built-in lights or retractable blades.

Blower fans are better for preventing mold growth than dehumidifiers because they target the damaged areas and increase the rate of evaporation, which dries out the building materials. Ideally, you should run blower fans and a dehumidifier, as this will allow the fans to move dry air over your damaged building materials, drying out the space even more quickly.

Selection relies on matching fan size and power to attic volume and ensuring compatibility with home electrical systems and ventilation requirements.

If your fan blades are spinning and there is no airflow, your blade pitch may be too flat, or your motor is failing. Adjusting the pitch is a simple DIY task if you have the tools. A failing motor is a bigger problem. You may need to replace your ceiling fan altogether. But fret not, we’ve got a guide for that!
