i originally bought the $99 coupon but didn?t get a chance to use it before it expired.  Several months later, we needed some to do some paint work in our rent house, touch up paint and paint two accent walls back to a neutral color.  I was running out of time and needed help finishing the job.  i called wright way paining.  he was able to fit me in the next day, showed up on time and got to work wright away.  We worked side by side to get the job finished.  good conversation and he even gave me a few painting tips (at no extra charge).  i would use them again.  thanks for your help.

The painter was very professional. He taped off the trim, removed (and replaced) the wall plates, and moved and put back all the furniture - that was a big help to me.  I had bought the paint and tape, but I am sure that the company could have helped with that as well. 2 years later, the paint still looks great.

He was very professional. He did a great and thorough job. I thought he was courteous and a sincere person. He worked on the schedule that worked for us and everything turned out great. The painting job he did was precise and meticulous and it looks beautiful.

He was great. Danny had to work late one day to finish and I gave him the keys so he could lock up. Everything looks great. There were a few window frames I asked him to touch up and he showed me that it didn't need painting, it just needed to be cleaned up with some elbow grease.

I thought Danny was great and would certainly refer him to friends.  He worked hard to get it done in one day and his pricing was fair for the job.

Great service. On time and did a great job. Even took the time to wait for the paint to dry to make sure it looked clean. I will definitely use them again.

They showed up on time, were done quite quickly, and the quality was great with lots of attention to small details.  My only complaint is that the deal covered only one coat of paint, and nearly all re-paints require 2 coats if covering with a lighter color.  We ended up having to buy more paint and pay for a second coat because one coat most definitely wasn't sufficient.

I have both good and bad things to say about this experience.  It started well.  Danny came out to give me an estimate and I showed him the 2 bedrooms and kitchen I wanted painted, told him I was either going with blue or yellow (he said yellow would probably take 2 coats, blue might only take 1), and he gave me prices for 1 coat and for 2 coats.  He also said that his guys would move the heavy furniture so long as we moved all the breakable and small stuff and cleared the top shelves on some bookcases.  A week or so later I scheduled the job, and Danny was willing to schedule the work on a Saturday for me because I work full time during the week and wanted to be home during the job, and he did tell me that he personally wouldn't be able to be there.  I confirmed the work to be done both by email and by phone (painting 2 bedrooms and the kitchen, and we even discussed how they would probably need 2 coats of paint because I chose the yellow color.)  I also asked him by email and on the phone if he could recommend a particular paint that might cover in 1 coat instead of 2.  He said with yellow, it usually takes 2 coats, so just buy cheap paint.  I told him I would probably buy the same paint I bought last time, and I couldn't remember (I was at work and the paint was at home) but it was either Sherwin Williams or Pittsburg Paint.   He said he could get a good discount at SW but just a small one at PP.  I also asked him if this job could be completed in the one Saturday we had scheduled, and he said probably yes.  The day before the job, I got a call from Jess to say he would be coming out to do the job for Danny.  The first problem was that Jess was coming alone.  I asked him how he was going to move the furniture by himself because Danny had said the painters would move the furniture for us?  (I have a bad back and my husband is having problems with his shoulder and elbows, so this was important to me).  I also asked him if he could actually paint 3 rooms with 2 coats of paint in one day?  Jess said he thought it was 2 rooms and 1 coat of paint each.  I said no, it wasn't, and that this was probably at least a 2 man job.  I then called Danny.  This phone call went horribly, and I would have canceled the job then if I wasn't in such a jam to get the rooms painted that particular weekend.  (I had carpet people lined up the next weekend, furniture delivery the next weekend, so I really needed the paint job done right away or else it would start a domino effect of problems).  Danny was extremely defensive.  He said he'd never promised to send more than 1 guy out.  I said no, he hadn't, but he did promise that his guys would move the furniture and likely finish in one day, and I didn't see how that was possible with just 1 guy.  And I reminded him that the job was for 3 rooms, probably 2 coats each, and told him that we had discussed this on multiple occasions.  At this point, Danny told me that he didn't remember the estimate that well because he didn't think I was going to hire him when he came to give me an estimate because a couple of years ago he gave me an estimate and I went with someone else.  I can kind of see how he might have forgotten what we talked about during the estimate if he didn't think I was going to hire him, but I followed that up with an email and a phone call to discuss the job again and schedule the work, so I don't see how he got this wrong.  Danny also told me that the last time he came out to give me an estimate a couple of years ago, I told him I went with the cheaper estimate from someone else because I "didn't want his quality in my house."   He said it to me in a tone that implied I had insulted him last time.  This is ridiculous.  I've never said anything like that.  That doesn't even sound like something I'd say.  I'm sure I told him that I was going with the cheaper estimate because this is a starter home, it's not very nice, and we really just wanted the job done for the cheapest price we could find.  I thought I was being nice by contacting him to let him know I was going with another estimate instead of just leaving him hanging, and I tried to explain that in our present circumstances, we were just looking for the cheapest price, but thanks for his time.  Apparently, he was insulted that I went with someone else last time.  And I'd like to reiterate that I never said those words quoted above.  Anyway, back to the phone call with Danny, he asked me what paint I'd purchased, and I told him PP Pure Performance.  He told me that was bad paint and he never would have told me to buy that.  At this point I started getting upset because not only was the job getting messed up, not only was Danny being rude to me on the phone, but now I had apparently bought bad paint, and it wasn't cheap ($50 per gallon).  I bought it even though he told me to buy cheap paint because I figured it was good quality (apparently price doesn't necessarily mean good quality) and because it was the same paint we used on our 3rd bedroom the last time and this way all the bedrooms would match.  Anyway, I told him that I know he didn't tell me to buy it, but I had specifically called to ask what paint I should buy and he said it didn't really matter, so this was upsetting to be told that my choice was bad.  Danny then told me that I was giving him really "bad vibes" and that this just wasn't going well, and that usually he has no problems with customers (implying that this was all my fault) and that he feels like I'm trying to put this "all on him."  At this point I wanted to cancel the job, but I needed this job done the next day, so I told Danny that apparently we'd miscommunicated and that just happens sometimes.  I said I still wanted to do the job, but by the way he was talking, it seemed to me like he wanted to cancel the job.  He said no, he just doesn't understand how this was messed up so badly.  He then said that he would try to find another guy to come out and he himself would come out the first hour of work to help move furniture and tape off.  I said that would be fine.  The next day, Danny and Jess and another guy showed up.  They got to work right away.  They did a test patch to see if I needed 2 coats or just 1 in the rooms.  I needed to go get another gallon of paint and Danny called PP for me to get me his discount ($10 less).  He even asked PP if they'd give the discount on the paint I'd already bought but they said no.  At least he tried.  Danny had to leave after an hour, but that was ok as he'd told me when I scheduled the job that he couldn't come out himself on a Saturday.  The other 2 guys were there from 9am to 5pm and did a wonderful job.  They moved the furniture, they removed and replaced the blinds, they even recaulked the windows, they cleaned up when they were done, they worked solidly the whole time, and they were very pleasant.  Personally, I'd use Jess again if he takes independent contracts - he's at 512-771-8544.  I would not use Danny.  I think he just didn't pay much attention to this job, and when the details got messed up, instead of just saying their was a misunderstanding and fixing it, he blamed me.  I believe he tried to make things right, but he was so rude to me on the phone that I would not use him again.

I thought Danny did an excellent job, for a reasonable price, considering the amount of detail involved.  I found him on Angie's List.  He was very nice, personable, and  professional.  I have already told all my friends about him because he does such a great job at such a reasonable price.  I will never use anybody else.

Danny and his crew arrived on time and did excellent work.  They were very professional.  I had previously hired Danny to paint my living room, kitchen and dining room so I knew his reputation was solid.    I was pleased and they willingly did some extra tasks unrelated to painting (moved furniture, hung drapes), charged me a fair rate and did good work.

Danny and his crew did a great job on this project.  They were able to fit me in during a very busy time for them when weather prevented them from working on an exterior job they had planned.  Danny met me at Home Depot to help me get the exact custom paint colors I wanted, and he and his team had my room completed by the end of the day.  They used rollers and brushes (as opposed to spraying on the paint), which I prefer, and they did an excellent job, especially since the room had a lot of trim.  They were very neat and careful,  covering all floors with drop cloths.  I'm very happy with the results and I will definitely use them again!

What I liked was basically the cost compared to other A-rated members on Angie's List. He was very competitive. A lot of other people that got good reviews for cost on Angie's List where I got a quote were just insanely ridiculous but his quote was very reasonable. He came over within a week of me calling and did a very professional job. He cleaned up after himself. I would use him again.

Danny was very quick to respond to my initial contact, and he promptly came out to size up the job. He was very easy to get along with and explained how he and his crew would accomplish the work. His quote came in a bit above a few other bids, but he was able to rework it down to almost match them. Since I liked Danny and his timetable for starting and completing the job (along with the fact that he would actually be performing some of the work himself), I went with him.

Danny's crew showed up promptly on the promised day at the promised time and got right to work. They were very professional (and friendly), thorough, and promptly cleaned up the work area after finishing each room. Danny was on a family trip for the first couple of days, but he was on-site and working the entire time when he returned.

As Danny had explained at the outset, he is somewhat flexible in terms of adding/subtracting services during the job (e.g., halfway through our job, it became apparent that we were going to need to paint a few extra ceilings and another set of cabinets) -- just don't take advantage of this flexibility, which is common sense and courtesy. Despite our additions, he was still able to finish the job on time and update the pricing very reasonably.

Thanks to Angie's List, I found Danny and Wright Way Painting, and I enthusiastically recommend him and his crew.

Fantastic.  He was easy to get in contact with, he came in at noon and locked up by himself on his way out.  The job was done without any trouble and my walls looks fantastic.  I even went to his home to pay him afterwards, and he had no qualms about that!  Talk about professionalism and trust.  I really appreciate Danny and his efforts to help me out.

Danny was very informative when at our home for an estimate.  He and his team did a great job, they were on time, courteous, and finished the job as scheduled.  We really felt as though we had friends in our home.  His team even gave us a few pointers for "do-it-yourself" jobs!  We would be happy to hire them again!

Danny and hi crew were very professional, punctual and clean. They even fixed my hallway trail light which was not working when they were done. They did the job in the time they said it would take and most importantly within the budget they had told me at the start of the job. I have other popcorn ceiling that needs to be removed from the rest of the house and I would definetly have them come over to finish the job. One of the easiest people to work with and very professional.
