"I told Jay the issue I was having with my garbage disposal at a rental property of mine. I told him if he could repair it great if not, I’d like to replace it. I would trust his decision. He called to tell me he was able to get it working and then let me know it was 15 years old and it was possible the motor was going out. He did not push me to purchase a new one and that made me trust him. I went ahead and had him install a new one and will call him again for any other issues or repairs that come up."

"We had a chicken coop built, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and every question we had was answered promptly. The project was completed in a timely manner, and the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. The coop has now held up through snow, rain, and hail without any issues, which speaks to the quality of the work and attention to detail. It’s clear Spencer takes pride in what he builds. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and delivers quality work, I would absolutely recommend him! We are very happy with our chicken coop and wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for future projects."

"Jeremy helped me fix my doorknob, replace my air filter, and repair my toilet seat—all in one visit. He was excellent in every area, professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. It’s hard to find someone this reliable who can handle multiple tasks so well. Truly a one-stop shop for all my home repair needs. Highly recommend!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Yes, adding a pool to your property will almost always increase your homeowners insurance premiums. This is because pools are considered hazardous, which increases your home's liability risk. The replacement cost of the pool itself is also factored into your home's rebuilding cost when determining coverage limits. The amount of the increase can vary from as little as $50 to several hundred dollars more per year, depending on your insurance company, location, current coverage, and installed safety features. It is best to contact your insurance agent before installing a pool to get an estimate, understand their specific guidelines, and factor the ongoing cost into your budget.

If you want your pool to be ready for summer, spring is the perfect time to put in an inground pool. However, if you are concerned about cost and are looking to save money, you can wait until fall and winter, when some companies may offer discounts on pools and pool materials.

Your indoor pool can be heated or unheated, but the decision depends on your local climate. In regions with freezing temperatures, heating your pool will keep it warm during the winter, especially if it’s only covered with a greenhouse enclosure.

If you keep your swimming water warm and toasty, budget between $300 and $5,700 for the cost of installing a pool heater.

Both above ground and inground pools can have pool liners. Inground pools made of gunite don’t need pool liners, and you’ve probably walked along an unlined pool and felt the ripples and ridges on the floors and walls. But adding a liner over gunite or other pool types helps protect the wall panels from algae growth.

Common problems include liner tears, pump malfunctions, and algae buildup. Regular maintenance prevents many issues.
