Small jobs welcome

"They did a good job with the various jobs we had them do. It took a little longer to complete than expected. When finished, we had to have them go back and touch up a few things. We also had them do a few extra things that weren t on the original quote and those things seemed expensive."

"We had water damage from a pipe in our wall. There was damage to our dry wall and flooring. They treated the mold and replaced the dry wall. They were professional and did the work in a timely manner. I would definitely rehire them again."

"Francisco and his crew showed up promptly at 8 AM on the first day and the following days of the project. They were polite, worked hard and were careful to clean up after themselves while working inside my house. The drywall work, wood paneling and some carpentry was nicely done plus a few extras projects. They cleaned up and removed all the construction trash at the end of the job."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

The best way to make long, straight cuts is to use a utility knife and a T-square to score the sheet, snap along the score, and then finish the cut by cutting through the paper on the opposite side with the utility knife. If you’re making small cuts, curved cuts, or cutouts for electrical boxes or light fixtures, you can use a manual jab saw to keep costs down, but an electric spiral saw or oscillating multi-tool will get the cleanest, fastest cuts possible.

You’ll want to inspect your plaster walls for signs of damage before painting. If you notice soft spots, deep cracks, bubbling, or areas where the plaster is crumbling or pulling away from the wall, it likely needs repair. While small hairline cracks are common and likely cosmetic, you should address larger issues before painting to ensure a quality, smooth finish.

Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.

If you only have tiny holes in your drywall (for example, dents or nail marks), you probably won’t need a patch kit. Instead, you can plug the hole with a small amount of spackle. Once the spackle dries, you can sand the area and paint over it—just like you would in the steps outlined above.

Options include bricks, natural stone, and concrete blocks. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and budget.
