"We had Erik out to look at a gutter that cracked and broke open shortly after we bought our new house. He gave an estimate for replacing that gutter and cleaning the rest, but we also asked him for an estimate for replacing the whole system (it was pretty old and visibly worn/rusty in places). We were happy with the estimate and booked the work. They were able to schedule us in quickly, and did the whole job in a single day. They also replaced rotten wood, painted the new wood to match our siding, and covered a couple squirrel holes. Erik also pointed out a place where squirrels had damaged the roof and recommended a roofer to look at it, and pointed out a few trees/branches that he recommended cutting to keep the squirrels off the house. We contacted a roofer and tree service to implement his recommendations and are so pleased with the results! The gutters look and work great and our attic and gutters are now squirrel-free."

(I had some problems - 4 other siding professionals evaluated with incomplete or poor conclusions). Robeson evaluated the situation correctly, and did quality work to complete after my review. "Very easy to work with and knew / shared extensive knowledge during bid, at the job, and after finished (i.e. need to wait at least 30 days before washing newly painted bathroom).  Quality work, repaired and went beyond in fixing any mistakes (painted extra wall when some paint from the ceiling got on an unpainted wall). Cleaned up well and left us all the extra paint. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that at times when he set up a phone or visit appointment, it was delayed due to being so busy on other jobs. However, he never left me hanging too long and always called the same day to report any delay's. Due to not being in any rush for this job, it was not a big deal to me.

"Over all it was OK.  I was not happy with how much time I had to spend picking up trash after they left - from strips of sharp metal, to dozens of screws every day for a week (literally), to their snack wrappers and drink cans every evening.  The house had been painted a few months prior to the roof job and they managed to gouge several pieces of newly painted wood from the sides of the house.  I was told it would not mildew and 2 years later it has and needs a cleaning.  Had they been honest about that, I would have gone with a darker color.

"There is Donald Bradford Painting & Repair. I never got anything good from him. His quote, I think he was doing a lot of the stuff here. He goes by Cobalt Roofing and Construction by the way, he has 2 names. I could never get all of the information from him. I don't have a total price. I have pricing, I never got a quote on the roofing and front rails, I never got my quote there. That was about 12000 dollars but I was missing a lot of the price. I was missing things from him. He failed to get back with me on things and when I tried to communicate with him he would never answer my phone calls. I started sending that he would answer an email once in a while, I had a question about the windows he proposed and he didn't respond to me, he had the supplier respond which was okay but I would rather heard from him. I didn't get a warm fudgy feeling about him and responsiveness.

He gave me the painting. He didn't give me the roofing. He never gave me the roofing and siding. I changed a bit on that but siding was not applicable. He never gave me a quote on 2 areas. I have a complete pricing on him. He was a nice guy, when he came over, he was a nice guy. That was fine, he was good. He knew what he was talking about and stuff. His problems are in communications and following through. He doesn't do well in customer support or customer communications. The pricing is incomplete. I would not use him, no, because when you are doing a project, if you can't communicate with the people who is the first person in charge of the project then that's bad. I want somebody I can get a hold of to talk to about my concerns if there is something that I don't understand or don't like. I want to be able to talk to him. If I can't talk to him then they don't get anything from me."
