Never use this company. over priced and crap quality of work....their sub contractors are top but this company sucks! they had to restart the tile work twice. their people laid tile and a blind man could have done better. the shower had to be install twice because of the project manager had no idea what he was doing. oh and then it still leaked and caused damage to my family room below....they are still arguing about what is causing them water damage. Never use them....please, save you money and save the grief...we are now awaiting them to have their own contact us but they seem to try to delaying that....we have had enough....if owner wont talk.....we will let you know what happens....it wont be good for this company......oh...if I could give negative stars I would...negative 10......

Came in quickly, politely and cleanly to update our bathroom. Have passed their info to family remodeling a kitchen. Owner even stopped by to check on progress.

We were very pleased with the work that American Building Dynamics,Inc. did for us.The men showed up on time and the final job made our home look like brand new. We would definitely call them again for any other home repairs.

Paid in advance. Was not notified when work on roof was done. No pictures of completed work and only way I can inspect it would be to buy 40 ft ladder and ho up on roof myself.

In my opinion, American Building Dynamics uses a predatory sales style to make customers feel they have no option but to use their over priced service. I was charged $500 for a 20x20 tarp and 1 hour labor with the understanding the money would be credited back if future work was done using them. But what actually happens is you pay $500 for service which should cost $150 max and then you are given an overpriced estimate. Most people would just go ahead with the work but I for one will not support this kind of underhanded practice. I would rather lose $500 then be a part of perpetuating this tactic. I strongly suggest any homeowners seeking to have work done, avoid this contractor. I also strongly suggest HomeAdvisor considers removing American Building Dynamics as a Pro as well. HomeAdvisor has worked hard to provide consumers with good contracting options and in my opinion this contractor certainly doesn't fit the bill.

The product does not appear to be the best. The railing is lose all the way around the deck. I not sure this will last very long.

Last year, American Building Dynamics(ABD) installed (1) new exterior shutter to my home and repaired damage to my neighbor's siding. Severe weather conditions blew my shutter off and subsequently damaged my neighbors siding. I took responsibility of the matter and covered all damages. Once again, during severe weather conditions, the same shutter blew off and caused damage to my neighbors siding. I reached out to American Building Dynamics regarding the situation and was advised that my warranty had expired. Business is business I understand this. Their customer service and response time had been pristine with me, so I made an appointment. An ABD estimator arrived to assess the damages in a timely manner and proposed to install (1) new exterior shutter in new holes. This is interesting. Where were these new holes during the initial shutter replacement? It is clearly visible that the holes had not been adjusted during the first work order. I have placed numerous calls to American Building Dynamics and I have requested to speak to management. Each time I called I was advised, "he'll call you back in 10 minutes." Ten minutes has transitioned to hours and now, days. At this time, the manager of American Building Dynamics is refusing to speak with me at all. Moreover, through his staff, who has been nothing short of pleasant and professional, he has stated that the company is not responsible for any damages. Since when are paying customers not worthy of a conversation? What is the point of having a management/leadership level, if you are not willing to address the issues and concerns of the customer base? I spent hard earned money with American Building Dynamics and I will continue to seek even handedness. However, I am fundamentally forced to take my business elsewhere and I strongly suggest that you do the same.

Run far far away from this company. No communication, just throws numbers out, doesn't follow through, and simply just tries to increase the already jacked up price. This company is a joke at best and just out to perform professional robbery without results. I hired them to replace some rotten deck boards, patch 2, 3 foot sections in the ceiling and build a matching handrail on the front of the house for my parents. First, you will be greeted by a shiny professional car salesman with an ipad who brags about "not being the cheapest", makes racist comments such as "We aren't Mexican" (should have been a sign right there), the process of the work to be a dedicated huge crew that will come in and knock out anything in 2 days without reassignment. He also bragged about how big the company is and everything is done right, etc etc. He had to call "the boss" later to be called "Vice President of Installation" on his email, then later to be called "Director of Installation" by his "Customer Service Dept". They cant even get their titles right. The salesman comes back with a typed up quote and contract to sign after his bosses approval. BE VERY SPECIFIC IF YOU EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. Contract stated: Replace rotten 1x6 decking, patch and paint drywall, repair two piece crown, railings on stairs Notes: A deposit of $2,130.22 is due before any work is scheduled. The remaining balance of $2,130.22 is due upon completion of work. Customer must supply paint. Deposit received, check number 1976, amount $2,130.22 Description Quantity Cost Deck board replacement, drywall patch and paint, crown repair. Remove and replace rotten deck boards in back yard where needed. Remove damaged drywall and replace, patch and match texture as closely as possible. Upstairs bedroom. Skim, sand, and paint patch in living room ceiling. Replace run of crown in living room where cut. Remove iron railing on front porch, install new wood railing to match existing, paint to match. Project Total 4,260.44 The quote for this was $4200 with 1/2 down. I was tired of looking around and just wanted to get it done because family were coming into town in a month and there was no way I could complete it all. The "company" uses a lot of made up titles with their staff to look big. They are out of Fredericksburg taking a job an hour away. Workers arrive and it was obvious no one had given them details on the work they were to perform. The first day was spent going to Lowe's and 1hr drive time because they got here at 10am, went to Lowe's, bought wrong size boards, returned them after I pointed it out and replaced with 16, 12 foot boards. They stated the contract was spec'd for 16 boards. I don't see that, do you? No. I wanted the deck repaired, so MOST of the deck got repaired until the boards ran out unless I wanted them to call "the boss", "the VP, "Director of Install", all the same guy Mark King.
