"Stamped concrete st pool is fading and cracking. Pool coping is flaking off. One attempted repair made a very ugly stain on pool coping. Then owner has ghosted me and ignores my request for help. Work done in February 2018. I gave up on him in July 2019."

We install underground utilities by horizontal drilling, which means less digging on your property.example;water service install, We would dig a small 2'x2' hole at your meter and a small 2'x2' hole at your house and drill from one hole to the other, under driveways landscaping etc.

"Working with this company has been a NIGHTMARE!! After numerous cancelations they did show up to do the work. We paid immediately, even going to the ATM on a holiday and having to make two withdrawals because the owner "needed cash". We have repeatedly requested our receipt and warranty information. They have refused to send it, even though it's been almost two months since getting the work done. I am now im the process of filing a complaint with the Attorney General. You have been warned!"

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Preparation involves site assessment, clearing debris, grading surfaces, and compacting soil to support stable construction.

The average cost for pool excavation is $2,500. This cost can range from $450 to $4,500, depending on the pool shape and size, time of year, and any need to move buried utilities.

When excavating for your pool, you might have to move existing utilities. You can expect to pay an additional $15 to $25 per linear foot to move gas lines. To move a septic system, it’ll cost an additional $2,000 to $20,000. A pool that is 10 feet by 12 feet averages $450 to excavate, and a 20-foot-by-40-foot pool averages $3,020.

While general contractors sometimes handle demolition, you can also look specifically for local demolition contractors. Demolition experts need to understand structural integrity, the equipment needed for safe demolition, and the permits required for demolition.

Yes. A metal detector is one of the quickest and easiest ways to find your septic tank. However, metal detectors can be too expensive (costing upward of $300 in some cases), and not everyone has a metal detector just lying around. If that’s the case for you, you can also take a long metal rod and poke it into the ground at regular intervals until you hit something—likely your septic tank lid.

Yes, chipmunk holes may have two or more entrances. Chipmunks can create an entire network of burrows. Having multiple entrances makes it easier for them when trying to escape from a predator, such as a snake, or if an entrance collapses due to flooding. Each entrance leads to the nesting chamber underground, which is where the chipmunk spends the majority of its time sleeping.
