"We added a sun room to existing home. Decided on stone for the exterior. Called Rocky to inquire about pricing and timeline and he was out at the house within two days to give a quote and had the work order written up that same day and provided to us via email and followed up with a phone call. He was out on our property within an day and was finished in a few days. The stone looks amazing and his recommendation for the color of grout to set off the stone we chose was spot on. We chose a cottage style stone with varying sizes, shapes and colors. He took great pains in making sure he had all of the various size and style stones and the varying colors were evenly spaced. He sorted through every rock until he found the perfect one for that spot. He was extremely friendly and personable and explained everything he was doing as he went along. I am beyond pleased with his work and highly recommend him to anyone who is needing masonry work performed efficiently and professionally."

"Ronnie was very thorough looking at the chimneys and analyzing our needs to give us an accurate quote. He thoroughly talked through the quotes and allowed me to ask many questions. When he came to do the job, he brought a helper (Big John). The two guys completed the job in a few hours, stacked the excess bricks nicely, and cleaned up after themselves. When doing the chimney sweeping, Ronnie laid out large cloth tarps to catch any falling ash/dust/debris and used a highly sealed vacuum to clean up inside our house when he was done. He even attached fans to the top of the chimneys to draw a lot of the ash/dust up out of the chimney instead of letting it fall into our living room. I was dreading having our chimneys cleaned expecting it to be a huge dirty mess. Instead, Ronnie and John worked quickly and kept things nice and clean.
As an added bonus, both men nicely talked to my four year old son who wanted to know EVERYTHING that they were doing."

"Dominic Mateja, a general contractor, installed a new roof on our neighbor's house, and when we noticed a leak in our upstairs bath, we asked him to take a look at ours. He did, and told us what we already strongly suspected--that we needed a new roof. Dominic gave us a very reasonable (and free) estimate, and his crew showed up the following week. Dominic uses GAF dimensional shingles with Cobra ridge vents and 30# felt with button caps. He was a roofer in Florida, where the roofing requirements are more strict than Tennessee, and he continues to follow their code. They did an excellent job installing the roof, and Dominic was careful to explain our warranty and to provide appropriate paperwork. He did a walk around the house with us when they were done for inspection. There was only one unexpected expense. When they got to the deck portion of the roof, they discovered that the previous owners had used plywood that was not thick enough for nails or button caps, so instead of risking driving the nails through our deck ceiling, they installed thicker plywood and charged us very little for additional supplies and labor. They hauled away the old material in a timely manner. When I discovered a small bit of damage to one of our garage doors a couple of days later, Dominic was there the next day to repair it, leaving me with the remainder of his repair kit to fix future dings.  ASK does remodeling, granite installation, doors, siding, and custom decks, and we have additionally hired them to repair our kitchen floor. They are thorough and are licensed and insured. Good job guys!"

"Jonas Riley, owner of Universal Construction, was called because we were searching for a company who had experience with brick chimney (leaking) repairs.  He responded very quickly, was very good to share his past work with old brick chimneys. Ours was approx. 60 years old. Was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about doing a good job for us.  He immediately e-mailed us a very professional contract to look at and consider.  The contract listed exactly what his obligations were, including hauling off all debris, a warranty on the work, etc. Because of very extensive rainy season, we had to delay beginning work until we had 4 or 5 sunny days. The contract stated that 1/2 of the agreed price would be due when brick and supplies were delivered; 1/2 due at completion. Jonas visited several times and brought brick samples for us to choose one.  He was easy to work with and apologized for the extremely wet weather. We were not the least bothered by the delays.  A "hole in the roof" cannot be done with rain. The old rain damaged wood in the attic was torn out and rebuilt.  Insulation was checked. When the brick masons (4) came they were efficient and did a beautiful job with brick we chose and mortar color we asked for.  Jonas asked how we liked the color of the flashing and offered to paint it a different color....we liked the dark brown and left it.  He had a welder make a custom fit chimney cap and installed it on the last day of our work.  There was no debris left behind, but he did give us a pad of shingles to keep.  His employees were very nice and helpful if we needed a favor.   Yes, I would hire this company for any number of repairs around the home. In fact, we plan to repair the sheetrock and ceilings damaged from past years of leaking chimney, but will delay those repairs until storms occur and we can be certain of the chimney."
