"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

Nashville's Chimney Experts. Ashbusters Chimney Service was founded over 40 years ago on the principle of prevention. We have seen the devastation of fire up close and personal and never want this to happen again to our friends, our families and our communities if we can help it. The fact is, not all fires are preventable. However, most fires are and by doing some very simple things on a yearly basis, like getting your chimneys and your dryer vents cleaned, you are taking action. Obstructions of any kind in a chimney can eventually cause a fire. Obstruction in your dryer vent or exhaust is even a larger danger to starting a fire and almost all of us have dryers in our homes.

"The representative was professional, was easy to talk to and answered all my questions with great detail."

The advantage of using Wayne Owens, a Hendersonville plumber is he he knows the area, he knows local vendors, and he is a local resident. When something goes wrong, Wayne Owens is only a phone call and a quick drive away. For Hendersonville plumbing services you can trust, call Wayne Owens Plumbing today.

"This is the second or third time I have used Wayne Owens Plumbing, and have been pleased each time. On this occasion, we had an old, leaky valve under the sink and a dripping faucet. I had planned to repair the faucet myself but the valve under the sink began to leak due to age once I tried to turn the supply water off under the sink. Wayne Owens was able to schedule my service appointment quickly. They arrived on time and, in addition to repairing the faulty valve, they quickly repaired the dripping faucet as well utilizing most of the parts that I had previously purchased. They were friendly, professional, affordable and efficient. I will definitely call on them again for future repairs. Thanks, guys."

Cross Driven Construction has been in business for over 15 years. We seek to do more than build buildings, we seek to build long lasting relationships with our clients, and helping people build, improve, repair and maintain their home. Never forgetting that when we are working for people,we are working for God.

"Overall we are happy with the work done. One of the things that most impressed us is that our call was returned promptly and we received the promised quote promptly as well. This is in stark contrast to the other ( all A rated ) providers we called, many of whom either never bothered to return our initial call or send us the promised quote after reviewing the job. Work was done as agreed, no surprises."

Water Heaters questions, answered by experts

Homeowners' insurance covers water heaters under certain circumstances. If your water heater is damaged due to a covered event, like a fire or burst pipe, your policy may pay for repairs or replacement. However, insurance won’t cover wear and tear, old age, or neglect. If a malfunctioning water heater causes water damage, your policy may help with cleanup and repairs, but not fixing or replacing the heater itself unless the damage resulted from a covered event.

Depending on the brand of water heater, you may need to install an expansion tank in order to meet the conditions for warranty coverage. It’s important for consumers to read the fine print of the warranty to see if an expansion tank is necessary. Even if an expansion tank isn’t required for the warranty, it’s usually mandated by building codes—although not for tankless water heaters.

Flushing biannually, checking the anode rod, and temperature settings maximize equipment lifespan while reducing surprise costs.

While many older homes don’t need hot water heater expansion tanks, they’re necessary in most newer homes and are required by building codes. These tanks are required by code in areas where there are backflow preventers or pressure regulators on the incoming water pipe between the public water pipes and the water heater. However, tankless water heaters don’t require expansion tanks.

Excessive pressure (above 80 psi) puts too much stress on plumbing pipes, joints, and fixtures. This can lead to leaks and burst pipes. Plus, it shortens the lifespan of appliances, can waste water, and can raise your utility bills. High water pressure might feel like a gift, but it’s actually a silent threat to plumbing.
