"I'm really in the middle ratings-wise, leaning towards "D" but giving the benefit of the doubt... I've had them for about a year and honestly cannot say I'm too impressed. My yard was in good shape grass-wise, but needed some weed control. Sad to say, weeds continue to pop up in my yard, and I've had them out a couple extra times for more treatments. It's obvious the applications miss a lot of spots or are just ineffective. I was expecting to be basically weed free by now, but it is not even close. It's actually no better (or worse) than when I called them last year to start annual service."

"I usually do not give a reviews on a company because they are willing to address your concern. Bill with Growth Spurts poured a concrete driveway and patio without rebar to reinforce and strengthen the concrete from premature cracking. he promised rebar prior to getting the contract and did not follow thru his words . Now the concrete is only 3 months and has several crack and holes. he will not return to repair his works which was the highest of the 3 bids received for the project. I place good faith on Growth Spurts and decided to give him the bid. I am very disappointed that Bill does not stand by his word."

The best way to keep voles from tunneling in your yard is to keep grass trimmed and bushes cut back from the ground at least 5 inches. Cleaning up yard debris, wood chip piles, and brush piles can also help keep voles at bay. If you notice vole activity, you can also remove bird feeders since these are a ready source of food for the tunneling rodents.

You should get at least one weed control application in the spring, and it’s a good idea for a monthly service through the summer and early fall. The best approach to keeping weeds at bay on your property is to hire a weed control company to lay down a pre-emergent weed killer in the early spring. These herbicides kill weeds before they can root, making your job for the rest of the season far easier. Monthly applications after that point, combined with manual removal or spot treatment, should be plenty to maintain a weed-free yard.
