"I called to ask how much it would cost to have a plumber come out and turn off the pilot light on my gas fireplace. $79 to just come to my house but they wouldn't quote what it would cost to turn the pilot light off. I can't believe it would take more than 5 minutes to do. It isn't like they need to jack the house off the foundation to turn off the fireplace pilot light. Guess I can look on Youtube to figure out how to do it myself."

This time, Jim dianosed the culprit as being the machine's original memory. While I decided not to remove and not replace the faulty memory for the time being due to cost, Jim upgraded my operating system to enhance the overall system performance.
