Toppainting and plastering inc, we already have over 15 years of experience at painting , decorating and bathroom renovation I worked for 5 years in London, and my last 10 years in Massachusetts and South Carolina, What made us move to this beautiful city SC is the lack of qualified labor and qualified professionals and that is why we are here to deliver the best to each client. where we paint a house with a high finish and quality. I have a team of professional painters who all work under my supervision so that together with my crew we can offer guaranteed quality work. I would like to explain a little about the way we do exterior and interior painting. Pressure Wash Exterior JoMaxx, Bleach, Water, TSP, and AJAX. This solution is made to kill mold and mildew. Cleaning with bleach alone only dyes the mold and mildew and then forces the spore further into the surface. The addition of TSP helps remove oxidation and ensure a strong bond between the surface and the base coat. The addition of soap helps the chemical mix stick to the sides, allowing it to be the muscle that works the surface and allows for an easy lower pressure rinse. My method of extensive prep start with proper cleaning. Trench Perimeter and protect surrounding areas, as needed with plastic and/or tarps. Paper may be used on concrete walkways. Wire brush rusty and/or exposed nail heads, both in the siding and trim/trim accents. Set the nail. Spot prime each set nail with Rust Inhibitive Oil Primer, twice. This will encapsulate the surface rust and not allow it to continue the corrosion process. Repair the set hole. Repairs should be made with exterior grade spackling compound or wood filler. Sand repairs until smooth. Spot prime said repairs with an exterior grade multi surface primer. All of our internal work is done with festool machine, so that we minimize as much dust às possible and we like working with festool for the quality and finish these machines give to us
"This is my 2nd review as my first review did not post. Alex was very professional and prompt, offered good advice, worked swiftly and I couldn’t be happier with the job done. Not only did he wallpaper the bathroom but he hung the new vanity mirror in just the right location at a perfect height. I will definitely recommend him to others. It was a pleasure to work with him and we have already asked for an estimate on yet another job."

Mr. Handyman is your one-call solution for a wide range of home maintenance and repair needs. Our uniformed technicians are fully insured professionals. We arrive on time in uniform and a marked van with the tools to complete the job right.
"I contacted Mr. Handyman of Greater Savannah after an attempted break-in at my house left me with a broken window. The receptionist, Angela, was very polite while I explained what happened and how I needed to have the glass replaced in one window pane. She explained that the technicians work on an hourly wage ($165 for first hour, $110 for each additional hour) and that I would also have to pay a “travel fee” because my address is not within their normal boundaries. However, I was not told how much the fee was going be. Instead, it was explained that “it depends on how far the technician had to drive from the previous job.” The technician, John, then contacted me to set up an appointment time. I explained that I wanted to have glass replaced in the window pane. When John arrived at the appointed time, I expected that he would be able to perform the job I had requested to be done. John looked at the broken window and informed me that he was not able to replace the glass himself. He was able to remove the pane and take it to local glass stores to see if someone could fix it. I told him that was something I could do myself. Why would I pay someone else an hourly wage to do something I could myself? John offered to board the window for me and I said yes, that’s fine. I assumed a handy man would have some simple supplies on hand and available, but I was informed that he did not have plywood and would need to go to Lowe’s to pick some up. John returned and proceeded to board the window with plywood. After working on the job for a total of an hour and a half, John presented me with a bill of $426.29. I was appalled! Who charges $426 to board a window? John could not give me a receipt, he suggested I contact the receptionist to have it emailed. I felt I had no choice but to pay even though it was an incredibly high amount. According to the invoice that was emailed to me, I paid $360.50 for labor and $65.79 for materials. Based on the hourly price I was quoted and the fact that John worked for 90 minutes, I calculated the following: $165 1st hour of work + 55 for additional half hour --------------------------------------- $220 total hourly wage + 65.79 for materials -------------------------------------- $285.79 labor & materials $426.29 total cost - 285.79 labor & materials ----------------------------------------- $140.50 leftover So I am left to assume the remaining $140.50 was the “travel fee.” My address is 38 miles from the office of Mr. Handyman of Greater Savannah. Am I happy with the work done by John? He did a good job of hanging plywood, however, he did not complete the project that I hired him for. Am I happy with the services provided by Mr. Handyman? No, when I spoke to Angela she could have said, “I’m sorry ma’am, we are not able to replace glass windows.” Or, when John called to schedule the appointment he could have said, “I’m sorry ma’am, we are not able to replace glass windows.” I would have appreciated the honesty and integrity and maybe possibly used their services for some other future project. However, after spending $426.29 for a boarded window, I will never call Mr. Handyman or recommend them to anyone. I believe it is very sneaky how they could not give me a price for the travelling fee as well as the fact that I never saw or signed any agreement contract until after the job was complete (although the job intended was NOT complete). I feel as though I was robbed again. You fooled me once Mr. Handyman, but trust me, you will not fool me a second time."

On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.
The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.
If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.
On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:
Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot
Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot
Batt: $2–$4 per square foot
Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot
Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot
Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
