"I was very surprised to see this review. During your unfortunate emergency due to a burst pipe, BioTek responded to your call almost immediately, even though it was Christmas. We came to your home several times and worked closely with you prior to and during work because of issues you were having with your insurance company. As I recall, you were extremely grateful and complementary. We were able to deal with upfront issues and get it taken care of within days. When mitigation began, we used heaters that required refueling, which you said you would handle (in a limited capacity); When the owner learned on Saturday evening at 9:14pm that you wouldn’t be able to refuel, he drove from his home on Sunday over 170 miles, to bring the fuel, rather than waiting until Monday and losing drying time. You did contact the office regarding the Xactimate, and we explained that the insurance carrier codes things certain ways. However, while we were checking, we also noted that an error was made in billing in the insurance carrier’s favor. We contacted Insurance, with you on the line, and explained the error that we wished to correct. As you witnessed, the insurance company would not revise. If we make an error, we want to correct it. Your loss was personally handled by the owner, and throughout you were able to and did contact the owner on his personal cellphone. At the completion, you were satisfied with the work that had been done and stated that several times. BioTek has been in business in since 2007, proudly serving thousands of satisfied customers.
