"I claimed a deal on here on 9/8 for $396 to have an annual pest control service contract with them, but to date I have not been contacted by anyone. I also noticed after I claimed the deal that it was quickly removed from the site, so maybe they didn’t mean for the “deal” to still be active on here. I’ll go elsewhere for pest control service."

"I called Justin Ludy, the owner of Palmetto Wildlife Extractors, based on a recommendation from the pest company I have used for many years. We made an appointment. During the time they were to be at our house they had an emergency call that required more time and manpower and they were not able to keep our original appointment date. Justin told his Michael, one of his employees, to make another appointment and correct our problem without charging. The work was completed very well. I later called Justin to send him a fee but he refused and made the work a gift since he said they had disrupted my day when the original appointment was not kept. I certainly appreciated his professinalism and concern for his customers. "

"Called at the end of October and made and appt for Oct. 28th. We were told that the price would be $200.00 but that they would offer us the coupon rate of $175.00 after asking if we had a coupon, which we didnt. We got a call from the office Friday the 28th stating that the technician scheduled to come out had to go to the hospital and could they reschedule. We told them sure, no problem. They reschedule with a date of Nov 1st at 12:00 pm and my husband verified time as he works the afternoon shift. He called me with time and date to mark the calendar. On Tuesday the 1st he called me around 1:00 at work and said they had not shown or called. I told him to call them and and see what was going on and that we would need to reschedule. He called and we were then told that they had Wednesday, Nov 2nd on their sheet or our appt.. He told them that he had been told the 1st and that it was too late that day anyway as he needed to get ready for work. They were due out around 11:00 or 11:30 on Wednesday. My husband called me again Wednesday when they were an hour or so late and I told him to call them again to see if they were on their way since he had to be at work by 3:00 and if they werent to just cancel and I would call someone else. He called them and was told they would be there soon. They did arrive and as far as their work, it was done timely and well and my husband said they were very professional and seemed to know what they were talking about. When it came time to pay the bill he told my husband it would be $200.00. Since we usually pay in cash we always have the correct amount for payment before anyone arrives. My husband told him that we were told $175.00. He asked if we had a coupon and my husband said not that he knew of and the tech stated that they sometimes give the coupon rate when booking the appt. so that would be fine. We understand that things happen beyond our control and we had no problem with the first appt cancellation but with the other problems with times and dates of appts and trying to schedule around to make sure my husband could be at work on time, we felt that follow ups and/or phone calls to let us know when someone is running late would have been the proper thing to do. I also feel that the coupon rate or any rate quoted to a client should have been noted somewhere on our paperwork so that there was no question as to the amount we were to pay."
"I have a contract with them so I have to use them again. It pays for itself eventually if you get good repair people. You don't control who they send."

When it comes to protecting homes, Terminix has satisfied more customers than any other insect and pest control company in the industry, with more than 15 million service visits annually.
Union’s humid summers and frequent rainfall create persistent moisture issues that attract pests like termites and mosquitoes. Unlike some nearby areas, Union’s clay soil holds moisture longer, increasing termite risk and complicating mosquito control. Pest activity peaks after heavy spring rains, so timely moisture management and preemptive termite prevention are especially important to protect homes in Union’s unique climate.
Helpful?
For safer pest control in Union, request Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and eco-friendly options like botanical or low-toxicity treatments. Prioritize bait stations and targeted applications in areas away from play zones. Schedule treatments when children and pets are out, and ask your provider about moisture control and termite prevention. Always ensure your contractor protects well water and adapts to Union’s climate and soil conditions.
Helpful?
Be cautious of unusually low quotes, vague service details, or high-pressure sales tactics from pest control companies in Union. Reliable providers should offer references from local homeowners, demonstrate knowledge of Union’s common pests and clay-heavy soils, and carry proper insurance. Look for customized plans that address both moisture control and termite prevention, rather than generic solutions that overlook Union’s unique environment.
Helpful?
In Union, long-lasting pest control depends on consistent moisture control, regular vegetation trimming, and adapting to clay-rich soils. The age and structure of your home, plus proximity to wooded or agricultural areas, also matter. Choose providers with local expertise who offer seasonal follow-ups, combine exclusion with termite prevention, and adjust strategies as Union’s weather changes throughout the year. Ongoing communication ensures lasting results.
Helpful?
In Union, discuss with your pest control provider how treatments may interact with your HVAC, well water, and septic systems, especially if you have a crawl space or private well. Ask about steps taken to protect air quality and prevent chemical runoff near well heads or drain fields. Experienced professionals in Union should be familiar with local home layouts and offer tailored mosquito control and exclusion strategies.
