"Home Genius Exteriors was excellent, and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They responded quickly to any of my questions and concerns, and all of their people, from estimators and project managers to the roofing crew themselves, were knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and professional. I would (and have) highly recommend them."

"Price was about average, can't complain - don't remember exactly how much or exact service date (disclaimer).  Company screwed up the scheduling.  Installer was busy with personal life and we had to work around their schedule.  Inconvenient.  Came out and sprayed insulation in the garage.  They left the door open to the basement so the entire chemical smell inundated the basement.  The spray was general even but there seemed to be small holes and spaces generally through out the insulation.  When I inquired about the small spaces the response was they generally use the small spray cans you can get at Home Depot\Lowes but that they didn't have any.  I said I would take care of it myself, I had enough inconvenience with the screw up in scheduling.  Other than that went well - it's not that involved, just spray foam.
They did clean up the mess relatively well, but not perfect."

"l  spoke with three other solar installation companies and was unhappy with the level of professionalism and the knowledge of the salesperson. I had decided to cancel the idea when I came across Sunpro in an ad. I was attended to immediately, a very impressive assessment was done to analyze the amount of electricity I have been using through the years and exactly how many solar panels I would need to cover my power needs without overpaying for panels that were not needed.
Everything was documented for me in a very professionally done color booklet with all the facts, figures, and graphs that made it very easy for me to understand the entire process, costs, benefits, and etc. During this process I was advised what Government rebates were available for the installation of solar panels AND that if a structure was needed to mount the panels to, rebates might also apply to the cost of the structure. We had been considering adding a patio to our home and Sunpro showed us the benefit of building the patio now which would provide the exact location and angle for the panels to capture the maximum amount of sunlight.
The entire job was done in a surprisingly short time and the quality was superb. The patio (including stamped and colored concrete) turned out beautifully. Frankly, I don't think I have ever been truly satisfied with any work that has been done on my home until this experience. Even the city inspector remarked at the excellent quality of the work that was being done.
In addition, the Sunpro system included making the entire house energy efficient by spraying foam insulation in the attic and sealing the entire house. This extra step (which was never suggested by the other companies) has made an amazing difference in the way the home feels and it allowed for fewer panels needed to provide the power my family requires (saving me money).  I have found out since the installation that Sunpro used certain components in their system that were far superior to what the other companies had advised. These small and inexpensive upgrades have made this system far more efficient than what I had been shown by the other companies.
The owner of Sunpro provided amazing supervision for the entire job. Sunpro also provided ALL the documentation I needed to apply for the rebates and tax credits. Everything was put in an organized folder to give to my CPA. The entire process went perfectly. Since then, Sunpro has done other work for me that has also been done perfectly. I don't know if solar panels are right for everyone, but this is definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. since the installation, I have not pain an electric bill. In fact, at this time the electric company owes me electricity.
I might add that in my particular case, the entire project costs LESS than what it would have cost me to build the patio alone.
Frankly, it is my policy to NEVER recommend anyone. I have taken the time to write this extensive recommendation only because I am 100% satisfied with the way the job was handled and the quality of the work and materials and the outcome of the entire project.

Insulation questions, answered by experts

If the outside temperature drops below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, it will take around six hours for your pipes to freeze—and they might even burst. That’s why keeping your mobile home’s temperature around 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit is necessary, even if you’re leaving it vacant for the winter. In addition, having ample skirting around the mobile home's underbelly will help keep pipes insulated during the winter.

Yes, professionals install and upgrade insulation for all home or business areas.

Ideally, you can add new insulation to your existing insulation. However, some circumstances require you to remove old insulation before adding any new insulation:

  • If the insulation is over 15 years old

  • If the insulation is wet or moldy

  • If it is vermiculite insulation

  • If you see signs of pest infestation

Removing old insulation is best left to a pro who can safely dispose of potential moldy or asbestos-ridden insulation.

Bathroom wall insulation not only keeps the area temperate, but it also reduces instances of mold, mildew, and rot. Bathrooms, after all, are havens for moisture. With this in mind, it’s absolutely worth it to insulate bathroom walls since it saves money in the long run. You won’t have to hire a pricey mold remediation service down the line. Also, insulation decreases outdoor noise and lowers energy costs.

Most heat in a garage is lost through air leaks in windows, doors, and walls. This is especially true if the walls are uninsulated, which is common in garages. Consider insulating your garage before installing a garage heater to ensure the heat it generates isn’t wasted, making it less efficient.
