"Jason was responsive and easy to work with. I needed gutter repairs, new gutters in certain sections of my house, then we added the gutter protection. Jason got me all fixed up and did a wonderful job!"

"Mr. Mike is truly an honest and very admirable handy man. He is true to his word and explains to you everything he is doing on your home remodel project. He listens to you about everything you want in your remodel plans. I was very nervous to find someone to help me redo my front main bathroom again after the first contractor never showed back up to finish the job. Mr. Mike showed up on time. He looked at my floor and looked at my bathroom. He immediately knew I had a water leak. The tile grout was all cracking on the bathroom floor and the bathroom had a terrible smell like old wet rotted wood. Mr. Mike gutted the bathroom again told me there was no rubber liner used for the shower and I had black mold. I was so upset, but Mr. Mike was so nice and calm which made me feel better. He basically rebuilt my entire bathroom. It only took him 5 days. He also found electrical wires by my water lines!! I am over the moon happy about my new bathroom and beautiful floors throughout my whole house. He also installed new interior doors. I loved the guys work and honesty so much that I redid another bathroom in my back bedroom. Mr. Mike is a handy man keeper!"

"Came to my house and installed 2 deadbolt for me. He showed up when he said he would and did a professional job at a reasonable rate. Cleaned up after hisself and finished the job quicker than I expected. I would hire this person again when I need another job done. I actually gave him a $20.00 tip."

"Thanks Santino and crew , I hire these guys to replace my back patio door due to rotting on the door jam ,, I was worried finding out the problem after my sons big wheel rubbed up against it completely exposed deterioration , I was worried buying the new door ,I was worried during the transport of the door due to the Door shops high demand in doors . It was unbelievable,,, But the smile Mr Gomez had on his face A-pond arriving letting me and my husband no that there was nothing to worry about ,, I eased into peace ,, than as they took the first door out ,, it started to Drizzle .. worry crept back up ,, The guys taped the the door opening up so that no water was coming into my house , and even though I begged them to come in out of the rain , they rather set on the front porch than to cause water damage or to track mud into my home which was completely fine if they did ,, but too find good help these days are hard ,, thanks for caring about other and great work guy I told u 100 times"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Attics often contain a mix of insulation, electrical wiring, and other materials that can pose fire risks. That’s why furnaces should be installed in the attic with proper insulation and clearance from combustible materials. Additionally, the furnace should be equipped with proper ventilation and heat shields to prevent the buildup of excessive heat in the attic space. Regular inspections and maintenance are also crucial to identify and address any potential fire hazards.

Grounding is a great first step to prevent electrical shock, but you can take it further with GFCI outlets and AFCIs (arc fault circuit interrupters). In particular, AFCIs help protect against the type of electrical arcs that cause fires, like if a mouse chews on a wire or your laptop starts overheating at the wall. These are required in some areas of your home.

There are several strategic ways to lower your home insurance premium. The primary one is to shop around and get quotes every few years to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Also, sometimes bundling your auto and homeowner’s insurance will get you a discount on both. Finally, try to keep your credit score up; many homeowner insurance companies use credit scores to generate quotes.

No, but they both serve distinct life-saving purposes. Smoke detectors primarily sense the presence of smoke, typically caused by a fire, and emit loud alarms to alert occupants to evacuate. In contrast, carbon monoxide detectors monitor the levels of carbon monoxide gas, an odorless and colorless but deadly substance produced by incomplete combustion of fuels. When CO levels become dangerous, CO detectors sound alarms to warn inhabitants of potential poisoning risks.

Yes. It’s okay to leave a pellet stove on overnight, and these stoves can provide 24 to 48 hours of warmth from one ignition. However, you should practice proper pellet stove maintenance, like cleaning the burn pot before each use, deep cleaning the unit at least once per year, and running the fan when the stove is lit.
