  This was not a big job but required a cast of thousands. Among them a plumber, electrician, tile guy, a guy to cut a granite countertop in place, an HVAC ductwork guy, a painter and a drywall guy. CSI was extremely professional. When I called and left a message he returned my call. Said he'd be here Thursday afternoon at 3:00 to take an initial look. Thursday at 3:00 he was in my driveway. Spent appropriate time surveying and talking through the job, asked all the right questions. Said he'd have to get with some other folks and promised a quote on Friday of the following week. Had quote on Friday. Job started the day he said. He promised two weeks, in two weeks it was done. In an industry where punctuality is often a joke, it was refreshing. All work was done perfectly, exceeding my expectations. He had one of his subs come back and touch something up that didn't meet his standards, I hadn't even noticed the issue. Every day they thoroughly cleaned up after their work and were always very conscious of the fact that we were still living here. Final bill was exactly as discussed. I could not have been more pleased or more impressed with the quality of the work they did or with how professionally they handled their business. Will call them any time I need something done

  It was great to actually have someone listen to me and to understand what I wanted. I loved the vynal flooring it was a luxury vynal planks. To look like wood without scratching from wheelchair. Jim also helped me pick a color scheme for my new bathroom. If I ever need any other projects I will definitely call Jim again

  We are very pleased with the work. The cabinets and countertops look great. They gave us good advice and suggestions. They coordinated and scheduled all the work at our convenience and arrived on time as promised. The countertop replacement took about 5 hours. The cabinet work took a day and a half. All in all, very minimal disruption for us. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering updating their kitchen!

  I couldn't be more pleased with Dan and his crew of Jake and Paul, plus others as needed. They were neat, confining dirt and dust from the rest of the house. They even cleaned up everything before leaving each night. They used my ideas and made them better by pointing me to experts to help me pick out coordinating tile and bathroom fixtures and showing me how things could be better. They used the existing too large shower stall and left a newly tiled shower with glass doors and added a linen closet. What a bonus (Jake's idea.) They replaced the bathtub, retiled the floor, raised the existing cabinetry, added granite tops with ceramic sinks, installed new plumbing and faucets, raised the tv to needed height, hid the wiring inside the walls and added new electrical outlets where needed and new vent fans in the shower and water closet. The room is beautiful and the work masterful. These are great people who truly wanted me to be happy. I tried to keep my interference to a minimum but if there was some small thing I found displeasing , maybe once, they were happy to redo something that other people would never notice. These are people with great hearts and it shows in their attitudes and attention to detail. Highly recommended for bathrooms and any other project you might need

  I contacted Mr.Dan Osterhaus of The Improvement Company in July 2014. He was very cordial, friendly and professional. I asked if he could look at a large room that was very warm in summer and cold in winter. He came out the next day and said he would send out his a/c man to check it out. The young man came out, measured everything (again he was professional, friendly and cordial). Mr. Osterhaus called me back with a quote and we arranged a time for him to come out and do the work. The room is so-o-o much cooler and I am sure it will be warmer in the winter time. Quality work!! Cost - $778.36 At the beginning of August 2014, I contacted Mr. Osterhaus again asking for a cat door to be put into the wall that leads out to the screen porch. He came over and looked at it and sent the right person for the job. I received a quote before he did any work and was very pleased with the addition of the cat door. Another great job!! Cost - $417.39. This price included taking out a temporary cat door from the slider door and reattaching the original lock. At the end of August 2014, I called Mr. Osterhaus again to install a ceiling fan, kitchen light, 2 bathroom vanity lights and a side garage door light. All of this was done in a timely manner and very professionally as well. So that makes 3 jobs well done. At this time I have not received the invoice, but he estimated around $300.00 I will continue to call him as he is trustworthy, efficient and the price has always been right.
