Having not worked with a contractor on this large of a project was a little daunting. Kevin did a nice job with communications, flexibility, and hitting our timeline. The craftsmanship was at or above our expectations. Also, his experience and knowledge were great in offering solutions and options when issues came up. We would use them again.

Contractor always left us know when he was coming and/or sending other people to do work. Helped us with design process and made suggestions for a more workable layout. Also, if we saw things that needed some correction there was no hesitation to get it done. Happy with work and our new kitchen!

As a new homeowner of an older home in a Columbia historical district neighborhood, we wanted to find a smaller, quality builder/company to work a new carport design while manuevering the eaches of particularities with city requirements. Although time and process intensive, Anne and Kevin were always thorough and communicated clearly with us each step of the way. Kevin will always ensure the job is done to a high quality standard and with the right time, material, and people to complete the task at hand. I will not hesitate to work with this team again in the future.

It went great. The toilet ended up needing to be replaced as well. Kevin and Anne worked with the plumber to ensure that the toilet we wanted was able to be installed quickly. Kevin did a quality check twice after the repair was complete. He noticed that the floor wasn't quite right. It was fixed the next day. Anne was extremely helpful, thorough and explained every step of the process. They were able to work us in so that we had everything completed by Thanksgiving. It was a great experience. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our house.

We had our master bathroom remodeled. This is our first big remodel on our home. The first obstacle was dealing with some asbestos abatement. Kevin worked with us and our abatement team to make sure that demolition worked in coordination with his remodel. After that unexpected hiccup, Kevin and Anne led us through the remodel process. Our remodel entailed several walls being removed and the master closet being reconfigured to allow for a large walk-in shower and free standing tub. We are also expecting and prayed that our remodel would finish before baby's arrival in April 2022. Kevin and Anne worked so hard to get this done, working with our busy schedules and doing the work well. The entire space is an absolute dream. As my husband said our first weekend in our new master bath, it was the absolute best decision we ever made. Nothing about this renovation process was overwhelming or stressful, which is saying a lot for two very type-A people. Kevin and Anne helped us with our design choices, pushed to finish a beautiful space in an amazingly tight timeframe, and were simply wonderful people to work with. We would recommend this company to any of our friends and already have. We would not hesitate to work with this amazing company again and plan to do so with any future projects on our forever home.

I had tried to work with four other contractors before I found Integrity. Could not have gone better! Kevin and Anne from Integrity were very professional, and easy to work with. Both were able to calm my fears of doing such a renovation. Work was done professionally, very good communication, and the work is beautiful!! Attention to detail is first rate. Cannot wait to bring them back for more work!!!

It was fabulous!! I hired another contractor to do the job and it was a complete disaster. I found the contact info for Integrity Builders and Bill Young promptly returned my call and made arrangements to come to my home to look at my stairs. Within two days, Bill and Kevin ripped what had been done and then gave me the stairs of my dreams. Kevin's work is second to none and my home was never dirty--even with the sanding. It was a wonderful experience.

They showed up when they said they would, the work was top-notch and paid attention to the details. One of the kitchen cabinets had to be replaced, so it was built from scratch, and you would never know it wasn’t the original. Except the one they built was higher quality than the original. The prices were extremely fair. We definitely will use them again.

Initial timeline was 3-4 months, but the project took 13. I am overall pleased with how the project was finished, just wish it hadn’t taken so long. Bill has a small crew and the project was initially hampered with rain and the end of year holidays. When I had a concern/issue, Bill addressed it quickly and professionally. We discussed change orders and he swiftly implemented them; I began to follow up our discussions with emails just to make sure we stayed on the same page over the length of the project. I was able to use my preferred electrical subcontractor. My house was built in 1950, so I knew we would find hidden issues (the whole point of the reno was to fix what I didn’t like); as Bill’s workers came across issues, they repaired them. They took great care when working around my young dog who enjoyed their company. The workers cleaned up the site daily/weekly to minimize trash and sharp objects (bad for my mower and my puppy’s paws). I installed natural oak trim, so I did the sanding, staining, and polyurethaning, but Bill installed the doors. I handled my own hardwood floor installation, priming, caulking, and painting.

There is good reason our contractor's business is call Integrity Builders. He has so much experience and made this process as painless as possible while we remained in our home. Bill Young has a great eye for design and detail. He requires precision which insures the finished product is perfection. On a personal note, he is kind and loves animals which made our experience with the process more pleasant. I highly recommend this company for any and all construction or home improvements you require.

We had water damage in our guest bathroom/bedroom and originally hired Mr. Bill for that repair only. We ended up with having Integrity Builders doing the following: wall cut out and barn doors installed in entryway for relocation of office, office wall build in, fireplace/tv build in, door installed at the bottom of stairs leading to attic, under the stairs build in and master bath remodel. Needless to say, we are pleased with Integrity Builders and would recommend them for any job needed for your home or business. Mr. Bill is a perfectionist and the work is wonderful!!!

Wonderfully!! ServPro came and ripped everything up and then we had to get a contractor to put it all back together again. I was extremely stressed out but when I called Bill, he came over the same day!!! They started fixing everything the very next day!! Perfectionists also!!! Bill and Tim went above and beyond for me and have been such a pleasure to work with. The work they did is impeccable - it looks brand new like nothing ever happened, and they were so communicative and nice throughout the process. Would I rehire? Absolutely, we already have. They're doing work on a rental home that I own now. It's so hard to find a reliable, honest, nice contractor and these guys are all of those things. I am so happy to have found Integrity Builders.

It was as good as you could get. Bill gave me a good itemized estimate and discussed exactly what he felt his company could do, and it didn't change except for one add-on we requested after the job began. It was a complicated repair which took about two weeks to complete and included building scaffolding, demolition of the existing jambs, interior shelves, and rotted areas, building a new jamb and leveling the doors (they were 'crooked' in the old jamb and didn't open well), interior wall repair, and all painting. They also installed good flashing so that this would not recur in the future. Even when they removed the doors to work, they put them back up each evening to seal the area from the elements. Bill came each day to either work with his crew or to check on progress. I am not sure we have ever had any company as professional as Integrity Builders and look forward to having them quote on future work. (They may have ruined us for other contractors!)

The finished work is excellent and we cannot be happier with the results. With the scope of the project not everything went as planned as you would expect. However, Bill was always up front and honest about our options. He and his crew were very careful and showed great attention to detail. Bill is a boarder-line perfectionist. If you want something slapped together, then go some place else. However, if you want a careful well thought out job hire him without hesitation. Our project took a little over 10 weeks (initial estimate was 8 weeks but there were some issues that extended the job). They made every effort to leave us with a working kitchen and bathroom each night. The few night we were without a kitchen could be blamed on third party granite and painting companies.

Over a near decade, Bill Young (the principal of Integrity Builders) did a wide variety of work on our home. The work ranged from small (replacing a broken pane of glass, relocating a toilet as part of renovation of a half bath) to extensive (repairing the considerable damage to the basement caused by the "thousand-year" rain in October 2015; repainting the kitchen cabinets). In every instance, the work was performed to the highest standard and in full compliance with any applicable building code. He knew well how the house was constructed, which allowed him to recommend that any work done would accord with the esthetic of the house along with the structural integrity. He worked well with others, carefully supervising those who worked directly for him, and ensuring that his work fit within any project for whom more than one contractor was needed.
