"After Hurricane Helene the pressed board siding around our fireplace chimney was in bad shape. Adding to that was the fact the roofers who replaced our roof afterwards did not install proper flashing on our garage (which contacts the chimney) and it exacerbated the situation. Pressed board was peeling away from the structure, warped, and expanded from water intrusion and a number of areas. We wanted to replace the entire exterior of the chimney with Hardie Board and have any of the water damaged under layers replaced with OSB and have the entire structure wrapped. We received a number of competitive estimates, but the estimate from Umbrella was by far the lowest and included more work than the others. The owner, Eduardo, is knowledgeable, experienced, and very professional. He assured us that he could have all of the work done to proper standard and completed within 48 hours. We were not disappointed. His team of workers were quick, efficient, and hard-working. Thanks Umbrella!"

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I was disappointed in the Angies List Special Deals. The ad said do not contact the service provider prior to purchasing the deal. Well dummy me I did not contact the service provider to request an estimate for the work that needed to be done. I would prefer to have an on sight estimate to confirm the amount of hours or the cost of the service. When I called to schedule the appointment I was reminded that I purchased only 4 hours of service
I received 4 hours of drywall repair but it was not enough. They did return the next day to touch up after it was dry. However, the biggest area of concern I had (the most visible bump in the wall) was not restored completely.
In addition, since the company named included painting I thought they might offer to estimate the cost of painting the room for me. They lost that sale, for not making an offer.  
When I had the walls painted the painter had to complete more work on the drywall, plus the paint bubbled from the drywall repair. This caused me extra work and money.
I will not purchase another big deal. I would have been better off with complete drywall repair and painting service.
