"Everything went well and the job was done to my satisfaction.  The crew from Wize removed the old gutters and downspouts, then cleaned the fascia and plugged the old mounting holes.  They then installed 6 inch seamless guttering and downspouts. Once the work was done, the crew walked around the house and picked up all scraps and screws.

Dutch lap siding features a subtly concave surface along with a notch that creates a shadowed look between the boards. This eye-catching design often resembles wood grain and introduces a noticeable shadow line, making it more visually interesting compared to the simpler look of clapboard siding.

How long siding takes to install depends on various factors, but averages seven to 14 days for a 1500 to 2000 square foot home. You may have a longer installation timeline if your house is large or architecturally complex, if you have underlying damage beneath the existing siding, or if the weather delays the installation process.

Mildew grows into porous wood, making it more difficult to remove than regular dirt (and more destructive).
