"This crew is a hard working dedicated group of men. They showed up on time, worked all day and did a fantastic job. I changed my mind on colors a couple of times during the process (before a huge surface was complete) and they immediately changed over to my new choice. I have all wood trim and a partial wood ceiling and beams, I had no idea that wood could be so unpredictable. They were patient with me, Yuri (owner) painted one section of trim with the color I chose, he recognized that the color I picked was probably too dark and stopped painting and asked my opinion. He was right, it was too dark and it was the color I had asked him to purchase. He then advised me about possible different colors that would provide the effect I was looking for. I picked a new color and it was exactly what I wanted. Later, after drying for a couple of days, I saw some flaws that surfaced (my dogs hair got stuck on one of the wood structures while the finish was drying). No questions asked, they came out the next day and fixed it at no extra cost. This company will give you an honest quote and finish the job way faster than anticipated. The only draw back is this: the first day they paint ALL the ceilings, so, if you can, get out of the house. Which for me, during this unusual C-19 time was impossible. But they were patient, understood when I removed plastic that they had to install to protect surfaces. They are super fast. I mean SUPER fast. Bottom line, having the whole interior of your home painted during C-19 is not ideal, but this company is. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to call me. My only complaint was even though they covered everything there was still some light paint on the floors. "I had Distinctive Painting paint to entire upstairs of my home. The job consist of all the ceilings, walls, trim, doors, baseboard and minor dry wall repair. Mario did a fantastic job on the trim, I was surprised he could paint that close to our hardwood floors and carpets without touching any of them. I contacted Lopco in mid-June and had a couple of visits with Mike (VP of Sales). Mike took lots of pictures. He followed up with an estimate a few days later, and came out for a second visit to wrap things up. One third of the total payment was taken. Mike supplied me with his cell number, and when I had questions about a starting date he immediately connected me with Tom (president and owner).
Tom was always available by cell phone. I texted him several times and he always got back to me. Tom stopped by several times and even rang the doorbell just to talk and ask me how I thought things were going. The job was done in three phases; power washing, repair and prep work, and staining. Just as I was told, workers would return every day to complete each phase before moving on to their next job.
The prep work was excellent. Workers sanded, sealed minor cracks, replaced damaged clapboard and shingles, and repaired a window with heavy water damage. They replaced a wooden panel below a deck door with a composite material to prevent further damage. They removed an ant nest and even called a pest control company on my behalf.
Second payment was done at the end of the repair work, and the last payment was taken at job completion. The workers that stained the house were particular to the end. They covered bushes, decks, and the driveway. There wasn't a drop or spill anywhere to be found. Paul (production manager) asked me to approve colors after small samples were applied. As it turned out the trim color was a bit too light, so they immediately changed it for a darker color after getting my approval.
All the workers were approachable and easy to talk to. They showed up on time every day, and completely cleaned up each evening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lopco to anyone, and I would definitely use them again myself.
