About us
Thank you so much for considering Zuck Painting during this important process of choosing the right company to paint your home! We are a fully licensed and insured professional painting company committed to growing from your satisfaction. With over 10 years of combined management and painting experience, we believe that we have what it takes to handle any job. The painting market is filled with contractors. Some of them have very high overhead costs in order to pay high management salaries, accelerate marketing and growth, and pay corporate royalty fees. Others may be smaller and lower priced, but may not have the network or manpower to meet deadlines and provide cadillac service. At Zuck Painting, we believe that we fall in the middle: our pricing is fair and competitive, we have enough manpower to work on multiple jobs and meet all customer needs, and just enough management to service all requests. Some of the benefits of choosing us are as follows: 1. Low 20% down payment - other contractors charge between 30%-50%. 2. 100% Job satisfaction - we will not ask for ANY partial or final payments until our homeowners have walked around the site and are fully satisfied. 3. Quality Guarantee - We will guarantee the quality of our workmanship for 2 years for 2 coats of paint. 4. Experience - Everyone in our company has experience working on jobs ranging from $300 - $1,000,000. We have worked for homeowners, contractors, and large corporations. We have the experience and skills to problem solve anything and handle any type of job. 5. Detailed Proposals - Our scopes are very well defined in writing and your end product will be completely predictable before the job even starts.

"After seven years in business, this is only the second time we've received a review like this on Angi. We want to respond respectfully and thoroughly, reaffirming the professionalism we bring to every job. Before starting any project, our scheduling team contacts the client with the start date and estimated completion date, as well as the workday start and end times, which are outlined in the signed contract. We ask clients to either be home to receive our crew or provide access for the work to be completed. In this case, the client opted to leave the door unlocked. At no point were we asked to lock the door after finishing the job. Our team does not lock doors they have not opened. As for the light left on in the kitchen, it may have been an oversight, but we only worked in that room and didn’t access other areas of the home. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. After completing the project, the client expressed satisfaction, stating the work was exactly as hoped. We thanked her and proceeded with the standard process to close out the project and request payment. However, soon after, she raised concerns about scrap wood, cleanliness, and paint splashes on the walls. While the walls were already in poor condition, we offered to repaint and clean the area at no additional cost, which we did. The client later mentioned a scratch on the floor and a broken blind cover—issues unrelated to our work, as other contractors were also in the kitchen installing cabinets. She also claimed we hadn’t covered the stove and appliances, but we have photographic evidence showing they were properly covered. When we refused to offer a discount for these issues, the client began posting negative reviews and filing complaints. It seemed her dissatisfaction was more about securing a discount than genuine issues with the work itself. We hope this response clarifies the situation, and if there’s anything we can do to resolve the matter, we encourage her to reach out."
"Thank you for the review! To address all concerns: 1) We pressure washed the house twice and confirmed his satisfaction before continuing. Pressure washing does not resolve all discoloration from the house; mildew and sun damage can cause different shades to appear on the house and pressure washing will not permanently resolve these issues. Perhaps on our end, this expectation could have been set more clearly and we will take this feedback with us gratefully. 2) Nailing popped out nails back into the house is a standard procedure. Replacement of nails and screws with new ones were not part of the contract/scope, but after the client made a comment, we replaced the nails at no extra charge as a courtesy. 3) The selected color for the house was extremely dark and did not cover the existing light shade after two coats. We never stated we were done or requested payment at this point. Instead, we emailed the customer on 4/23 stating that we would provide a 3rd coat at no extra charge. The coverage issues after two coats was not because of an application error; it was because of the color selection. The customer has been supplied with contact information for a Sherwin Williams representative if he would like further clarification. 4) The existing shutters are likely original to the house and showed signs of decay prior to Zuck Painting's work. After painting the shutters bright white, imperfections in the shutters became noticeable. It was chosen by the client to leave the shutters as is instead of replacing them. 5) The image attached by the customer is a photo taken during the progress of the job and is not a photo of the finished product."
