"Justin responded to my call promptly and set up a time to come to unclog my cellar sink. He was courteous and professional. He is insured and very reason as ble. He spent 3 hours trying to unclog my drains. It turned out that the problem was with the city's sewer system. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him! He is a great representative for the plumbing industry."

"I was experience a sewer back up in my basement, the tech came within an hour. Extremely professional, knew exactly what he was doing. Cleared the line and showed me a bunch of roots, explained he could use high pressure water to get em out, I called roto rooter two years ago and they didn?t even mention the possibility of that, they told me it would be 14k to dig it. I gave the guy the okay to clear the line out with water, and I can?t believe he got the line looking brand new. Professional, affordable, left the place cleaner than when they came, would 100% recommend them."

"We liked working with Corey and his team a lot- they did great work and were quick in getting started and completed the bathroom Reno in time for our move into our new home. My only complaint would be that a mess was left behind for us to clean. (I.e. floor paper coverings and copious amounts of dust in our sunroom.) and I had to follow up a few times in regards to the waste getting hauled away that was in the contract. However, despite that, we plan to work with Corey again in the future and felt they did a solid job on the bathroom itself, he was very responsive, a good problem solver and his team is efficient. I would absolutely recommend him and his team as I felt we got good quality work done for our money."

"I'm extremely happy with the service; Rooterman came by on a Saturday to provide an estimate. He said he'd be back on Monday between 11:00 AM and 1:00PM. He arrived just before 11:00AM. He was efficient and neat. We had the kitchen faucet replaced and 2 hand held shower heads put in the bathrooms. He also unclog a drain. I would definitely recommend Rooterman."

French Drains questions, answered by experts

An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.

Sometimes, the drain is just too clogged—thanks, stubborn hair and soap scum. In this case, you’ll need a more powerful drain cleaner than you can DIY safely at home. But this doesn’t mean you have to choose a traditional drain cleaner.

You can find biodegradable drain cleaners at your local home improvement store or online for those drains that need a little more oomph

While on the hunt for a formidable drain cleaner, the best options are non-chemical clog solutions that combine enzymes and bacteria.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Septic tanks can clog if they aren’t pumped every few years since solid waste accumulates inside of them. Your tank might also clog if you have a habit of flushing anything other than human waste or toilet paper. Items like diapers, baby wipes, paper towels, cat litter, and personal hygiene products should never go down your pipes.

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.
