"I was experience a sewer back up in my basement, the tech came within an hour. Extremely professional, knew exactly what he was doing. Cleared the line and showed me a bunch of roots, explained he could use high pressure water to get em out, I called roto rooter two years ago and they didn?t even mention the possibility of that, they told me it would be 14k to dig it. I gave the guy the okay to clear the line out with water, and I can?t believe he got the line looking brand new. Professional, affordable, left the place cleaner than when they came, would 100% recommend them."

"I'm extremely happy with the service; Rooterman came by on a Saturday to provide an estimate. He said he'd be back on Monday between 11:00 AM and 1:00PM. He arrived just before 11:00AM. He was efficient and neat. We had the kitchen faucet replaced and 2 hand held shower heads put in the bathrooms. He also unclog a drain. I would definitely recommend Rooterman."

Customers say: Quality work

"Todd made a trip to my home to assess my needs We discussed types and brands of fixtures and he recommended those with which he has had the best outcomes in service and reliability. He purchased the faucets and a couple days later came to install them. He was pleasant to have in my home, worked in a very professional way, gave good advice for future projects, and cleaned up. I valued his professional work ethic and advice on future projects. I will definitely call him when I need more work done."

French Drains questions, answered by experts

You can try several easy methods to unclog a drain, one of the easiest and most effective of which is to use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. This will help dislodge and dissolve the clog to move it down the drain pipes. Pour 1/2 cup baking soda into the drain, followed by 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Dump several cups of boiling water (or hot water if you have PVC pipes) into the drain and let sit for up to one hour. Run hot water to clear the drain.

If your kitchen is flooding, first turn off the water supply and electricity before entering the room. Next, focus on immediate flood control by cleaning up any standing water with a sump pump or wet-dry vacuum to prevent long-term water damage to your home. Open your windows and run any dehumidifiers you have handy. Finally, call a professional plumber to help find the source of the flood and repair it.

Usually it’s fine to leave a toilet clogged overnight, as long as it’s not close to overflowing. In some cases, the extra time may give the clog time to work itself out. For example, if it’s caused by an excess of toilet paper, letting it sit could result in the clog dissolving and you may be able to simply flush it away by the time you wake up.

Only let it sit though if you have more than one toilet in the home.

To get rid of a sewer smell in your crawl space, you’ll have to find the source of the problem. If it has to do with your sewer lines, then repairing the line will help. You may need to make other repairs, like fixing your sump pump or encapsulating your crawl space to reduce moisture. After you make the repair, depending on the issue, you may still need to clean out your crawl space to get rid of the stink.

Chemical drain cleaners can work to clear clogs in pipes, but their use should be approached with caution. These harsh chemicals can damage pipes over time, and they can also harm the environment. Use them sparingly and consider alternative methods such as using a plunger or a drain snake. If you have concerns about a persistent clog, it's best to consult a professional who can safely and effectively address the issue without causing further damage to your plumbing system.
