"Geno came himself to meet with us and review our options.  He took his time explaining everything he would do and promised an estimate within a few days.  The estimate was detailed, and while it wasn't the lowest one we received, I had a feeling that Geno was genuine, sincere and truly wanted to work with us to make our 1950s home look new again.  After the estimate came, I had asked for an upgraded garage door and bathroom windows (which I had not originally included) -- not a problem.  The work started on time and continued every day until it was done.  Geno's men put in 10-12 hour days and barely took a break for lunch.  My husband is a (retired) professional carpenter and knows good work when he sees it.  He found Geno's crew to be "excellent mechanics."  Our broken garage door was replaced first -- what a change already!  The house needed 23+ windows -- no small job.  Geno had recommended energy efficient windows which will give us with a tax credit.  We had 4 large panels of patio glass across the back of the house.  A new two-door patio door was installed and the wall was closed up where the side panels of glass had been.  Rotted wood at the eaves and various areas around the house was removed and replaced.  The new storm door was installed.  Our old siding was removed and insulation and siding was installed.  With the exception of the gutters, the job took 6 days.  Each day the crew cleaned up their work and the grounds entirely.  The men were careful with our property, very courteous, and more than willing to answer any questions or we had as they worked.  On the last day Geno came to see if everything was done properly -- it was.  I did not have one single concern about any of the work done -- when the job was finished, it was finished.  No followup.  I think I'm very particular and I can honestly say this job was done by people who took pride in doing a good job and who cared about making the homeowner proud of their home.

You can count on him. He is very good at figuring out solutions to things and creative ways to do them. 
His prices are a bit higher than perhaps your average handyman - but, in life, you  usually get what you pay for. This particular ceiling job was worrisome - he got us custom matching paint and the result is perfect! He is completely trustworthy and completely licensed and insured. 
I am also a Realtor and have recommended him to many clients whom he has completed jobs for. They uniformly reported back to me how pleased they all were and one of them just referred him to her sister who is also very pleased. 
Calling him a "handyman" is a bit unfair - he is much more than that - closer to a general contractor as he can do large jobs and remodels also such as bathrooms and shower doors and such. He also owns a mirror and glass business and can do custom mirror and glass work also. "
