"My neighbor in Newtown noticed a large bee hive hanging from beneath the eaves of my third floor and contacted me. She was very concerned that if it fell it would land next to her side door and the bees would surprise and engulf her someday. Even if it never fell the size of the hive indicated it should contain many bees and therefore a possible danger to her. So, after reading the reviews on "Angi" for exterminators in Newtown I called Green Pest Solutions. The next morning Matt from Green Pest Solutions called and said he had already looked at the hive and it was an abandoned wasp hive and was no threat since the wasps were gone and it would fall down on its own and there was no charge for his inspection and advice. I was amazed! How easy would it have been for him to simply remove the hive and charge me the going rate of several hundred dollars? I would have paid and not thought anymore about it. All of us have heard stories of being taken advantage of by someone doing work for us, but you will never hear a story like that about Matt and Green Pest Solutions."

We know that nobody wants to be in a position where they need to call their local pest control company, but you can count on us to be there for you when you need us most.

A sales representative pressured me into signing a one-year contract by stating that he needed to secure one customer that day. Feeling cornered, I agreed to the contract, trusting the sales guy professionalism. However, after the first service, I decided to cancel the service. I was shocked when I was informed that the cancellation fee would be $250, despite having been told initially that the service fee was $100. The customer service agent was rude and he got furious after he heard about cancellation and determined to get 250$ from me. The entire experience has left me feeling deceived and frustrated. I would caution others about the company shady practices and be wary of high-pressure sales tactics. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend GreenPest company and suggest seeking pest control services from a more transparent and customer-friendly provider."
