"The technician showed up for the diagnosis the day after I called and then required a credit card to order the parts and schedule the repair (total over 600 dollars, most of which was for the repair and not the part which cost under 200 dollars). However, they were totally unreliable. I was leaving for 2 weeks but no appointment was available the week before my trip. So I scheduled the appointment 3 weeks later. On the day of the appointment the website said the estimated arrival time was 9:30 AM. Nobody had showed up at 1 PM so I called their help number multiple times throughout the day and every time I called I was assured that the technician would be there before 5 PM. The last time I called was at 4:40 PM and while I was on the phone with the technician who continued to insist the repair person would show up, I received a text that the appointment was canceled (15 minutes before the close of the window). Nonetheless the technician said the text might now be correct and I would receive a call within an hour to update me. Nobody ever called. I had already provided payment for both the repair and the part so I rescheduled the appointment for the earliest possible date which was 4 days later. It is now 2 PM on that date and I have received no texts and nobody has shown up. I called the number for the support staff and got the same run around. I was told again somebody would call me within an hour to verify the time of arrival. I have been waiting but nobody has called. They insist there is no way to call the repair person directly and I just have to wait. I will never use this service again and I think it is a scam where they extract payment and then keep not providing the service."

"They charged $137.80 for literally a 5 minute visit and did nothing but turn the oven on and google the model # on his phone. I had already done some internet diagnostics beyond what they did. I asked him about testing the temperature sensors since this is what the error code pointed to and he said "I can't test them now because the oven is hot". So why wouldn't he have tested them before he turned the oven on? He didn't test anything. He just told me the parts weren't available and it couldn't be repaired. I could however deduct 1/2 the cost of the service call toward a new appliance at their store. Hmmm. Sounds like they just want to sell a new appliance since they put no effort what so ever into a possible repair."

Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status.
