"WHL Construction responded promptly to my phone call regarding a fairly large second story balcony that was pulling loose from my house's ledger board and was in danger of falling. (Years ago, the original contractor used nails instead of bolts to attach it.) Bill Lamey came to my house the morning after I called and spent over an hour examining the problem and determining a permanent solution. He pulled his 7-man crew from another job and in one day's time, starting at 7:30AM, they disassembled part of the balcony, reattached the support boards to the ledger board with durable, strong bolts, replaced the Trex flooring which had been damaged by screws popping up before the problem was noticed, and reassembled everything including the original balcony rails and spindles. Several contractors wanted to trash the entire balcony and start over with a time estimate of a couple weeks and a much higher price tag. Bill's crew did an excellent job and his quote was reasonable. Plus, he guaranteed his work in writing. I highly recommend WHL Construction."

"When I’m my radiator upstairs leaked into the dining room, I called John and he took care of rebuilding the wall and making it look good as new. It was a challenging project because it was lathe, furing strips, paneling, and then dry wall. It looks good as new! When my deck needed new boards, I called John. When he ripped off the deck boards, he found half the joists needed replaced and he cared for all of that. Looking to hire him when we start our garage attic renovation."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Dave Biller founded BMC in the fall of 2005. He has a diverse background of knowledge and experience, which includes construction, maintenance and customized applications. \n \n1985-1991: Served in the U.S. Air Force as a Structural Specialist in Civil Engineering. Left the military after Desert Storm. \n1991-1996: Attended Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Workforce Education and Development. \n1996-2004: Managed a maintenance program for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. \n2005: Instructor of building trades for Lycoming Career and Technology Center. Fuel prices shortened Dave's teaching career at the Lyco CTC. \nFall 2005: Founded Biller Maintenance and Construction. \nDave has completed apprenticeships in carpentry and masonry; completed vocational programs in welding, electrical and refrigeration; completed continuing education courses in construction management, contracting and safety management. \n \nDave volunteers for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and has served as Vice Commander and Commander for the State College PA flotilla. \n \nBiller Maintenance and Construction prides itself on excellent customer service.
