"We had a lot of work completed on our home (read: an expensive job). We had a paver walkway installed. We had some irrigation work (ran downspouts underground to run off points) completed. We expanded gardens that didn't previously have any foundation plantings by adding trees and shrubs, and changed the outdoor lighting. The team was quick to secure and complete the work, but the problem has been the follow up / remediation. The crew chief came out afterwards and noted soil settling where the irrigation work was completed, and that a tree and some shrubs were dying back. He talked about adding soil / seed because the settling was significant (obvious), and replacing plantings (trees / shrubs) that didn't fare well (tree trunk snapped by crew member and has been dying back since). I've contacted the crew chief who made the commitments, particularly since there is a warranty on plantings. Repeated calls and emails have not produced a result. So I strongly recommend avoiding this firm because they do not live to the commitments made."

"We've used them on several occasions, both for our front and back yards and on a varitey of trees (age, type). In each case we've dealt with their owner, Max, who is quite knowledgeable. We appreciate that we were never being sold a package. He was really most concerned about the health of each tree, balanced with our safety and even our neighbors'. We were often able to prune trees in ways that let them live longer and healthier, and not compete with other trees on our property. Highly recommended!"

"I had 4 trees removed by Shades Of Green. The crew showed up before 7AM and starts planning their approach. Once plan had been laid out, the execution was so calculated and with accuracy. They maneuvered their crane right next to my garage as a staging place. Trimmed the 3 big trees right next to my garage with accuracy making sure that the hanging removed tree was safely transported above my garage and house safely to the ground. Protected my lawn and driveway with mats. The whole process was so neat and not to mention you got the front row seat of a spectacular event with big cranes, Bucket trucks and other machinery on the ground. The crew was so precise and shows expertise with their approach. From the ground crew, tree climber, crane operator, the Crew Chief, Julio and Tom the Arborist they showed professionalism and are respectful of the owner’s requests. Everyone in my neighborhood is congratulating me for the outcome, credits are due for Shades Of Green crew! As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution.
