Gallagher Stump Removal is a stump and root removal service for residential and commercial customers in Southeastern Pennsylvania. No job too big or too small! Fully insured with over 30 years of industry experience. We will grind the stump and rake the grindings into a nice neat pile back into the original stump hole, however we do not haul away the stump grindings (wood chips) from the clients property.

"Brian did an awesome job. I inquired Monday afternoon, I received a voicemail from the company Monday night. I responded early Tuesday morning with my address. About 10:30 am Brian called and said he was at my house and gave me the cost. I was not at home at the time. He told me he could do the work immediately and I could send him the payment. When I got home about 12:30 the stump was gone and the job was perfectly neat and well done. I highly recommend Gallagher stump removal. Thank you Brian and Christine."

Within an hour, Joe B, a manager at Green Lawn, called me to apologize and explain why the treatment may not have been correctly recorded in my records. He was apologetic and kind. The fact that he responded so quickly and was so sincere really impressed me. I also have found the technicians (who do the treatments) to be very friendly too. Therefore I’ve upped my rating and intend to use this company again in 2026."

"I had 4 trees removed by Shades Of Green. The crew showed up before 7AM and starts planning their approach. Once plan had been laid out, the execution was so calculated and with accuracy. They maneuvered their crane right next to my garage as a staging place. Trimmed the 3 big trees right next to my garage with accuracy making sure that the hanging removed tree was safely transported above my garage and house safely to the ground. Protected my lawn and driveway with mats. The whole process was so neat and not to mention you got the front row seat of a spectacular event with big cranes, Bucket trucks and other machinery on the ground. The crew was so precise and shows expertise with their approach. From the ground crew, tree climber, crane operator, the Crew Chief, Julio and Tom the Arborist they showed professionalism and are respectful of the owner’s requests. Everyone in my neighborhood is congratulating me for the outcome, credits are due for Shades Of Green crew! We operate with a single crew that focuses on one project at a time. Estimates are free. Detailed landscape drawings have a design fee. Fee amount is dependent upon the size/scope of your project. Design fee will be credited toward project cost upon customer commitment. We request a deposit of 35% prior to job start. Balance is due upon project completion. Subcontracting is rare. The owner, foreman and designer all have undergraduate degrees in the study of trees and/or landscape design & construction.
