DORSEY'S TREE SERVICE

We have used this service for years - in years when part of the landscape has developed a problem, at no extra cost, he promptly returns to provide treatment or consultation.

As noted above, we are very pleased with the services we receive from Dorsey's Tree Service and will continue to use these services in the future.

mr. dorsey came out within days of call. Explained what was affecting the trees, and what would treat them. Treatment was 100% successful the following spring. This man is an old fashioned professional in the best sense of the word! I highly recommend him as trustworthy and worth the money to save mature trees.

emovied.My family and I had used Mr Dorsey's services for a number of years at a home which had at least a dozen maple trees. Each and every year he provided us with guidance and performed fertilizing and/or other treatment as needed.
At another property I have I needed to obtain new lawn care service. In doing so I asked the new provider to recommend a tree service to provide an estimate for pruning this "hugh" backyard tree. Whoever he recommended came by, inspected the tree and provided a written proposal stating the tree was diseased and needed to be removed at a cost of approx. $5000.
Having received a pruning proposal 2 yrs earlier (which I did not follow through on) I was shocked at this new one. I contacted Mr Dorsey. He came by and provided an assessment stating that there was some fungus that he could treat, and fertilize the tree for $90. He also recommended the tree not be pruned at this time as well as how poorly it was previously pruned, which was done before I bought the house.
I also made a call to my previous lawn care guy (who stopped his lawn care business) and asked his thoughts about the proposal. He, having cared for the property for two years said the tree was very productive in both growth and leaf production as well as dropping leaves during the fall.
In summary MR Dorsey is an outstanding asset to our communities!

He came out and checked the trees. He said they were all healthy and recommended not to take them down. He was really honest. He treated all of the trees.

He is excellent and keeps my trees alive.  He’s also very knowledgeable about what he does and I think he is fairly priced.  He also answers any questions or issues that I have.

He is just extremely competent and competitively priced. Dis an awesome job. Grandson had a ball watching his team climbing and handing in the trees. Very thorough in clean-up!

I noticed that our new trees were not doing well. Their service is quick, but basic, but they did a good job. They offer a once a year visit, but I have not noticed a big improvement in the new trees. I was hoping for more seasonal oversight of the trees and more information from them.

I called on the Saturday before Memorial Day, planning to leave a message on a machine, and he answered the phone! He scheduled me for first thing Tuesday before I left for work. Not only was he on time, he was finished before I left. I had originally called about 2 trees, but he checked the 2nd spruce at no extra charge. Told me to keep an eye on the trees, follow up checks are included for one year. The spruces look okay, but I plan to ask him if the maple needs a fall treatment. I may have waited too long before calling him.
