"First of all, I can can do plumbing myself, but it usually involves more than a day or two and multiple trips to one of the big box stores. Since the tub hardware was old and corroded, I didn't want to take a chance of making things worse, so I decided to call in a professional; that the toilet started leaking was a (happy) coincidence for me, so he or she could do that at the same time. I contacted TruPlumbing and Tom was dispatched for the job... he contacted me to set up a time and date for the service call and also gave me a quote and the option to buy my own parts for the job, telling me what was needed, Tom arrived on time and had both jobs completed in a few hours; he was very professional, covered his shoes so as not to track dirt into the house, and explained what all he had done. I would definitely recommend TruPlumbing and will use them in the future."

"Service was great, but was not thrilled with the structure of the bill; not complaining about amount (which I have no idea if it is fair or not), but how the work was broken down. The bill had two lines Diagnose a problem $84.00 it took literally a few seconds to describe the problem, but I understand this is basically something that would get added to every single job for this professional.. Fill valve and flapper $226.00 When I asked about the above was told that it also included installation. So my question is basically why not break that into two lines so it is clear to see what one is paying for?"
