"Excellent work at a fair price. Punctual and professional. Respectful of property and requests. Most people will stop reading at this point, but I suggest you continue for a brief example of how qenuine Ryan is. While he was here doing the job, I was helping an elderly neighbor remove a fallen tree from their yard when the tire on my pull behind lawn cart blew. Not only did Ryan offer to help me fix the cart but he helped me unload and stack the wood free of charge and still finished the job on schedule. A true stand up young man."

"Mr. Nelson and crew arrived at 9 am and began removing all the old bushes, etc. from front and side of house.
They  outlined the new garden area borders.
They provided and installed all the trees and plants as previously planned, also the landscape fabric, plus tons of topsoil and river rock.
The job was completed in one day.

"Rapid Repair did a fantastic job on my drywall project. He was efficient, did quality work, and the cost was reasonable. I will definitely be using this company again for my next project!"

"Zach came and gave us an estimate for a roof replacement and converting our box gutters. He was one of the only roofers that were willing to walk the roof, and then offered candid feedback and suggestions and provided a quote a few days after seeing the project. Ultimately, we decided to go with a different option and scaled back the scope of the job, but I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call in the future for any roofing projects."

"Cons:
- I had to call multiple times and threaten to cancel my purchase before someone called me to schedule.  It took about two weeks to schedule instead of the 3-4 days stated on Angie's list.  The lack of response to my phone calls was highly unprofessional.
- I had to pay $60 extra for materials after the work was completed.
- I had to sweep and clean up after they left.
Pros:
- Once scheduled, the work was completed as requested and to my satisfaction.
- The price was reasonable.
- I would use Masters Electrical again.

"Brad and his team delivered us the deck of our dreams. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are unmatched. We had several quotes and referrals from multiple companies and Decks, Decks, Decks came out on top and for great reason. Al was our master craftsman on the deck construction and he is a perfectionist in the best sense of the word. The deck is very sound and constructed well. He would pay close attention to make sure every aspect of the construction was done with completeness and precision. I could not recommend Decks, Decks, Decks more!"

"Did a great job. Had to install an anchor on one, and had to re-work the wiring on one of the light kits. He stuck with it and got it done. Appreciated the effort and would hire again,"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Post depth for shadowbox fences should be at least two feet deep plus an additional foot for every foot of fence height above four feet. For a standard six-foot fence, this means a minimum depth of 3 feet. This depth helps to protect the structural integrity of your fence in the face of wind, soil movement, and seasonal ground shifts

A fence post set in concrete lasts anywhere from five to over 25 years, depending on how well the concrete was applied and the fence post’s material. Untreated wood posts in concrete could last less than 10 years, but a durable, treated wood set in properly applied concrete could last a few decades. However, all fence posts will wear out eventually, so expect to need to replace your fence post every five to 15 years.

While there’s no hard evidence to support this idea, driveway gates at least provide an additional obstacle that may deter crime. After all, a would-be burglar or trespasser would have to break into the gate and the property itself. The extra work could encourage them to move onto a house without a driveway gate.

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.

The most common type of metal fence today is one made of either steel or aluminum. These materials are relatively easy to fabricate, making them much more cost-effective than traditional metal fencing handmade from wrought iron. They’re also much lighter and easier to install, contributing to their affordability and making them more DIY-friendly.
