"Mr. Nelson and crew arrived at 9 am and began removing all the old bushes, etc. from front and side of house.
They  outlined the new garden area borders.
They provided and installed all the trees and plants as previously planned, also the landscape fabric, plus tons of topsoil and river rock.
The job was completed in one day.

"He has completed a number of jobs at my home. Gutter cleaning was just one of them. He has worked on my awning and secured places where there was open access to birds. Inside he has repaired doors, lighting fixture and the bath tub. Upon completion pictures are shared of work without easy access. I have been pleased with all the improvements. He is professional, knowledgable, prompt and courteous. Will not hesitate to use his services again."

"These guys are not only pros—they are true gutter artisans. After a decidedly frustrating experience with previous roofers, who were at best sloppy but in any case showed no pride in work, working with Ryan Hankey and Always Perfect Contracting has been a breath of fresh air. The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

In Butler, always review local setback and height restrictions before starting a fencing project. Permits are typically required for fences above certain heights. The area’s rolling terrain and clay or rocky soil may require specialized installation techniques. If your property borders a neighbor, discussing plans in advance can help avoid disputes. Also, check for any neighborhood association or historic district guidelines that may impact your project.

Helpful?

For Butler’s climate, pressure-treated pine is durable with regular upkeep, while cedar naturally resists rot. Aluminum fencing is ideal for low maintenance and rust resistance. Vinyl-coated chain link works well for large yards, and composite fencing offers strength in extreme weather. Use galvanized or stainless steel fasteners, fast-setting concrete for posts, and a gravel base to improve drainage in clay-heavy soils.

Helpful?

In Butler, the humid continental climate means fence posts must be set below the frost line to prevent heaving during cold winters. Spring’s heavy rains and summer humidity require pressure-treated or sealed wood to resist rot, while metal fencing needs rust protection. Vinyl fencing can become brittle in winter. Scheduling installation for fall helps avoid weather-related delays and ensures materials cure properly.

Helpful?

In Butler, most standard residential fencing projects take about 2-4 days to install, but permit approvals can add a couple of weeks to the timeline. Ordering custom materials may extend the wait, especially during busy spring and summer months when contractors are in high demand. Weather delays, utility marking, and challenging soil conditions can also add extra days to the overall project schedule.

Helpful?

When hiring a fencing contractor in Butler, look for professionals with experience handling local frost lines and soil types. Ensure they have proper insurance and a reputation for quality work. They should be familiar with local permitting and neighborhood rules. Always request a written contract, avoid paying in full upfront, and compare multiple estimates. Checking references from other Butler homeowners can help ensure reliability.
