"The owner of the company personally conducted the roof inspection.  He showed up exactly when scheduled, briefly explained his credentials and experience--which were very impressive.  Clearly this was somebody who was way overqualified to be doing a small roof inspection/repair job, and yet he was cheerful about it.  After our brief conversation he went to work, climbing around on the roof and describing to me (me on the ground) what he observed.  He was not afraid to get his hands dirty, pushing the black roofing sealant into holes, cracks, and over any protruding nail heads.  He apparently solved some small nagging leak problems that we had been having, even after another roofer came back more than once.
